Bridgestone dueler h/l p275/60r20 alenza had a slow leak for about a year that I couldn't find. Today the sidewall completely brew out on the highway at 70 mph. There was no curb rash or noticeable physical damage anywhere on the sidewall prior to the sidewall failure.

Cooper discoverer all-terrain lt265/70r17 123s all-terrain tire. Just purchased from walmart oct 31, 2024. This is the email I sent to walmart claims service, inc. First of all, the tires were installed in the wrong manner. The tire pressure sensor monitor (tpms) was installed on all four tires. I was fraudulently told that the car battery was bad and that the tpms were unable to be reset. My auto battery was only purchased 3 months ago and the best battery that can be purchased from napa for my vehicle. When I returned to the indicated store, I was given the same bs story about my car battery being bad without proof of defect. This was an obvious attempt to get me to purchase a replacement battery. Fortunately, I have my own device to reprogram the tpms devises. I was able to reprogram the tpms devices on all 4 tires without problem on the first try. This is clear evidence of bad faith dealing on the part of walmart. The tire pressure is 80psi. At the maximum load rating of the tire. At the recommended pressure of 44psi the tires are too soft. The tire squishes and rolls when driving around moderate curves at the posted speed limit of the roadway. This causes an unsafe condition and very dangerous to trailer a pull along vehicle. These tires are unsafe!!!! and that is a fact that cannot be disproven. Walmart is totally responsible for any product liability as a result of any death or damage sustained. I am not interested in entertaining any comments about, "if you feel they are unsafe, then don't drive the vehicle". I didn't purchase new tires for my vehicle to sit in the driveway. These tires need to be replaced ASAP with an alternate viable option. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ at the recommended operating tire pressure of 44psi the sidewalls are not supportive enough to prevent the rear end from pulling to the side, slipping, and sliding. This is more prominent when going around moderate curves.

The tires seemed to lose their tackiness at 44k miles. With tread life being around 48% they were deemed insufficient and needing replaced by the tire shop during an inspection. A solo accident where the vehicle lost control in wet weather warranted an inspection. The tires had even wear for the most part, but were showing cracking around the sidewall. The tires were only 2 years old and had 44k miles on them. The vehicle and tires were always parked in a garage and/or parking structure out of the sun/elements. With the same brand tires having an 80k mile limited warranty, this shouldn't have been an issue.

Brand new tires installed on vehicle by americas tire store on 7/29/24. Received a phone call from our son 7/30/24 7pm of complete tire blow out on hwy. Lost control of vehicle but managed to pull off hwy where he proceeded to contact us as well as aaa. Took back in to americas tire said they would replace tire but had no explanation as to why this happened on a brand new tire. According to aaa a lot of tire manufacturers cutting corners producing defective tires.
Brand new set of tires. Less than 100 miles on them. During a left turn at roughly 15-25 mph the entire tire separated from the rim on the rear passenger wheel. The tire is in a secure location and can be inspected if needed. This led to an accident. There were no warning indicators such as low pressure indicators. The low pressure indicator came on after the tire came off the rim. The car went from make a 90 degree turn to making a 45 degree turn and cause my SUV to smash into a house. Tire size was 285/45/r22.

Tire is torn in the sidewall at the bead inside the rim edge. The tire had less than 10,000 miles on it and was installed on March 14th 2023, failing around November 16th 2023 (around 9 months of use). It had been installed on a set of Chevrolet wheels before arriving at the dealership and that tire/wheel combo was installed on the Tahoe by Chevrolet in fort walton beach, florida. The tire failure appeared to occur without provocation and failed on a 2. 1 mile drive from the store home. The tire on the rim was mostly covered by the edge of the rim and it was very hard to spot visually. There was no damage to the rim, nor any reason the tire might have been lacerated by the rim. Upon dismount for replacement, the damage appears to be a tear or rip and does not appear to be puncture damage. The tire was replaced at Chevrolet and they noted that there was no reason for the damage (and charging us for the failure). The tire was then shipped to bridgestone and was returned to the Chevrolet dealer and it was explained that they said, "it happens". The only warning lamp that illuminated was the tpms low pressure warning as the tire quickly deflated. I still have the tire in my possession for inspection. My safety was put at risk because the tear occurred during normal driving and without provocation. Luckily we were in the neighborhood and speed was 25 mph. Had this happened on the interstate, the outcome could have been quite different. This was a bridgestone alenza a/s 02 275/50r22 111h m+s dated 5022. Thank you!.

P265/65r18 michelin tires: I bought the vehicle last fall and it had these tires. I am not sure when they were purchased, but they seem to be in good condition with plenty of tread left. However, these tires are dangerous in winter conditions. They do not grip on snow and they are absolutely dangerous if there is any ice on the roads. I have driven in minnesota and north dakota since I got my driver's license and these tires are probably the most dangerous tires I've ever had. This morning (10/31/2023) we had just a little bit of frozen sleet on the roads from last night and it shouldn't have impacted my driving much, but going over 35mph caused slipping and loss of traction. My 2wd pontiac sedan has much older, more worn tires and handles ice better than my 4wd Chevrolet Tahoe with these tires. I am emailing you so that you are aware that there is a potential issue with these tires. I have already contacted the manufacturer of these tires.

I bought achilles desert hawk uhp 285/50/r20 tires in late 2019 from walmart . And had them mounted in 2020 from discount tire. Within 10 months of tires being mounted I had a vibration and it was getting worse every day so I started looking at it and found I had a separated tire on the driver's side front. I put my spare on and contacted walmart which told me sorry for your luck and there is nothing they can or will do. So I contacted discount and they said to contact achilles tire. I did and never heard back from them. I then forgot about it until roughly 5 months ago when passenger tire was separated. Then 3 days ago the passanger rear separated and now today the driver's rear has separated. I understand 1 tire possibly 2, but to have all 4 tires separate in less than 2 years and in under 10,000 miles is mind blowing to me. . I have all the tires and I filed a complaint with walmart and achilles after the 2nd one. I honestly don't think it's discount tires responsibly. I only had them install tires because walmart would make excuse after excuse and I got fed up with it. There should be some sort of liability to the manufacturer and to walmart. I am asking you if it's possible to look into this. 4 tires separate in 2 years you ée??e77?e?.

2002 Chevrolet Tahoe. Consumer writes in regards to issues with vehicle tires the consumer stated a recall was issued for the tires on the vehicle. I have 4 michelin cross terrain tires p265/70r17. They are under warranty with plenty of tread but the side walls (not near tread) of all four tires have deep long cracks (up to 8inches in length) I noticed this sept. 2010 and the dealer isn't very helpful and just wants to charge me money for new tires. I believe this is a huge safety hazard and they should be recalled!.

We were informed that our toyo open country h/t 111s owl 265/70r16 were dry rotted. We purchased these tires approx 2 years ago and the vehicle was stored in closed garage virtually every night. Only 30,000 miles were put on the tires from point of purchase to point of observation by tire store which means dry rotting happened at some point prior to 30k miles. It was recommended to us that this could be a potentially dangerous situation for me and my family so we elected to purchase new tires immediately.

I did contact someone at el dorado in pennsylvania who connected me with a "cooper" tire dealer in calif. To pro-rate my defective tires. 2 of 4, although 4 were desired, were replaced. My son was driving on I-74 north of indianapolis at the posted highway speed of 70 mph when the right rear tire on our chevy Tahoe deflated. The tire was a kelly safari - 265/75/16. There was no apparent reason why the tire suddenly went flat, such as a road hazard or a nail in the tire. Goodyear customer service was unresponsive when I called them. My tire dealer, tire discounters, gave me $60 credit toward the purchase of four new tires since I was uncomfortable with the remaining three tires. The kelly sufari tire had approximately 30 thousand miles (over one half the original treadwear was remaining at the time of the deflation). The tire was a little over 3 years old and the other three were still in good condition. My son was able to control our Tahoe and pull to the side of I-74 without losing control. I will never purchase another goodyear tire because of this problem and the lack of concern exhibited by goodyear's customer service department. I hope this deflation problem gets recorded and the NHTSA follows up with goodyear. I see I was not the first to have a blow-out deflation problem with a kelly safari tire.
I have had to replace tires, falken ziex s/tz 01 275/55 r 20 this is my 2nd set of 4 tires I have had to replaced. The first set the steel belts crossed over eachother 8 months and less than 10 thousand miles. This second set I just had to replace due to the tires causing my vehicle to vibrate extremely, at highway speeds causing me to slow in order to maintain control of my vehicle. In addition this caused extreme noise in my vehicle. This began approximately 2 years ago, the first set of tires were replaced on a pro rated basis, this second set was not.
Tire explotion on the freway.
I was on the 10 freeway going approximately 70 mph, I felt my car starting to shake. I moved over to the slow lane and at that time the tire tread on my left rear tire came completely off and did significant damage to the left rear side. I called aaa to have the tire changed and when the technician arrived he check the air pressure which was 37 lbs. My spare was placed on my vehicle and I drove home. I contacted americas tire CO. (I had taken my car in March 2008 to prepare for a trip and they rotated and balanced my tires and I was given the o. K. ) I told the manager of my problem and he referred me to copper tire CO. I was sent a claim package and was told to mail the tire back for inspection. On July 10 I received a letter from which stated our claim was denied. The reasons where because our tire had a loose patch plug repair and was underinflated. They are saying due to the puncture, which there isn't one because it was repaired in 2006, the tire failed. I called americas tire and told them what crawford had said about the repair and they told me that they follow calif. Law when doing a tire repair. I was also told the patch would not cause a separation of the tread, that is caused by a company defect. Crawford claims that they tested the tire and refuse to provide me with any information. My tire was repaired in oct. Of 2006, if this was the case my tread would have separated a long time ago. It appears crawford is using this as an excuse not to pay the over $2,000 worth of damage to my car. Crawford claims when a flat tire is repaired with a patch it affect the integrity of the tire. This is nothing more than an excuse for crawford and cooper to not pay for the damaged to my car. I also have noticed that pro comp has had problems with the same style all terrain tire no. Lt265/75r16 that I currently have on my vehicle so this is not the first time they have had problems with tread separation with cooper tires.

It was replaced with v4jd3mtr4507. The repair shop said that it was road hazard even through there are only 5,000 miles on the tires. I had to pay $117. 70 to replace a tire I feel should have been 100% warranty replacement at no cost to me. On March 20, 2008 again at highway speed the left rear v4jd3mtr1306 blew out. Again the tire tread is in excellent condition and the blow out occurred with no warning and for no reason. These were both immediate and complete tire failures at 75 miles per hour. : the contact stated while traveling 45 mph, the vehicle's rear passenger tire drove over a nail and lost air pressure. Upon inspection, it was noticed that a dime size piece of rubber was missing along the middle of the tread. The vehicle was driven to a tire repair shop, who replaced the defective tire with a full size spare. The contact did not notice any vibration while driving prior to the incident. The tire manufacturer was contacted, and determined that the contact could have hit an object on the road, causing the tread separation. The service dealer was contacted, and provided no assistance. The contact expressed that the vehicle was not safe to drive, if a piece of tire ripped off so easily. The tire was a bridgestone dueler 684, size: p265/70r17.
