For several years the low beam headlights would go off and on intermittently. Now, they are mostly off which means I cannot drive my vehicle at night anymore unless I want to blind people or get stopped. I have changed headlamps, relays and fuses to no avail. Now, I see that many others with the same make and model SUV have been having the same issue but no recalls have been issued for this year model. This is a major safety issue when we have to drive with the high beams on and when the lights go off unexpectedly. If you will issue a recall for one year model having a particular issue, why would you not do the same with all year models having the same issue? come on Chevrolet and NHTSA, let's get this problem solved to save some lives. It is very scary to be driving and have your headlights go out and a major pain to have to be sure you are home by dark or not be able to go out after dark because your headlamps are or may stop working.

The first thing to go wrong was the power windows don't work properly in the winter, now the air conditioner only blows cold air intermittently, and the most recent problem is the headlights won't work at all, I called the local service center and they said that the electrical recalls were VIN specific, even tho I had the correct make model and year my VIN did not qualify for the recall! I'm very upset that they can be VIN specific but I'm having all the issues on the recalls!! I can no longer drive my vehicle if it is raining, foggy, or dark because I have no headlights!!! I also lost control of my car in the rain and think it has to do with the stabilitrak, the light has been on for a while, luckily I stopped my car before I crashed into anything.

Engine will shut off going down the road then after several minutes it will start again. Also I have had the headlights go out driving at night they will suddenly go out.

My low beam headlights suddenly stopped working. I still have high beams, marker lights, but not low beam. The vehicle was stationary at the time that I noticed the problem.
Exterior low beam lights, headlights turned off during driving,. A hazard while driving at night. Hazardous to driver, occupants and on coming traffic because we have to immediately put on highbeams to continue driving.
I was driving in the evening and both of my headlights cut off and won't come back on.
I was driving my car at night and the headlights just went off. No white lights only the amber lights were on, the next day when I turned the car on the lights were working. This has happened 3 times. I am afraid to drive the car after dark.

The airbag deactivated light on the dash cluster comes on and off but mostly stays on now. No codes showing the cause. While driving both low beam headlights suddenly turned off, later diagnosis showed an electrical issue that melted both low beam light connectors and wires at the bulb end, new connectors were installed. Two different times within 1yr the heater blower motor relay has gotten hot enough to melt the connector and burn out the relay, connector replaced twice and currently melting again as fan speed 1, 4, and 5 have again stopped working. Heater blower motor also replaced twice concurrent with relay.

Headlights went out driving them came back on then off again. Went to the dealer for known recall 14291 and said my specific Trailblazer is not listed for the recall. This is very dangerous as I was driving in the dark for many miles. I should be reimbursed for any fixes as gm knows there is a problem not sure why it's only to specific Trailblazers and not all from 2006-2007.
Daytime running lights will not work. Low beam headlights will not turn on at night.
Low beam headlights will stop working.
The low beam headlights burn out while driving the vehicle. This has happened 3 times in the last 6 months. All 3 times both low beam bulbs burn out at the same exact time while traveling on a rural road in nh. .
My headlights constantly shut off while driving at night and I have to use my high beams to see anything. Looked online seems to be a known issue yet no recalls when entering my VIN. Thank you.
The daytime and low beam headlights would turn off randomly, which would make for dangerous and unsafe driving conditions. Now they no longer work. I have received a letter from Chevrolet about this problem, but because I have more than 150,000 miles on my car, I must pay to have this problem fixed. It will cost me more than $400 dollars and a one way trip of 35 miles to my nearest dealership to get it fixed. The part can only be replaced by a dealership service center, because the computer must be reprogrammed, forcing me to use their services instead of my mechanic.
I was previously having an issue with low beam lights, gm would not fix even tho recalled. Now problem with all lights going out I understand there is a headlight driver module problem now?I'm sure gm will not fix this issue either?.
While driving the low beam headlights will go out. And not come back on you have to turn on high beams to have headlights stopped and pulled over turned off the vehicle turned it back on and low beams still did not come back on.
