1 Turn Signal problem of the 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer

Failure Date: 10/27/2016

Both right and left low beam headlights stopped working as of 10/27/2016. The amber turn signal indicators seem to work sporadically. As of now, the vehicle can only be driven safely during the day. Early morning darkness and the earlier onset of sunset make driving hazardous. The vehicle was not in motion at the time this was discovered, but before leaving to make a school drop-off. The high beam lamps and fog lamps work when activated. The r and l head light fuses are intact.

3 Turn Signal problem of the 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer

Failure Date: 11/07/2013

I went into town to grab dinner and as I am driving along, my headlights shut off. The only thing that remained on, were the orange turn signal lights. I frantically turned the headlight knob on an off and nothing happened. I was looking for a place to turn off the highway, however it was night time and I had no headlights. I ended up pulling over to the gravel side of the road, and turned the car off. Now I am stuck on the side of the highway at night time, with no working headlights. I turned the car off and got out, tapped the headlights and looked for any physical damage and did not find an answer. Upon starting the car again, it sounded like someone had turned on a vacuum cleaner. The noise pitched up for about 5 seconds before pitching back down. After re-starting the oil pressure gauge moved from its normal position at "12 o'clock" to an abnormal "6 o'clock". I tried to call onstar for a vehicle diagnostic, however now my radio would not work either. I tried the headlights again, and they still would not turn on. I turned on my high beams, and proceeded back home. While en route my speedometer was reading 10mph over my actual speed. When I pulled into my driveway and turned the car off, the speedometer stayed at 10mph. I find it very hard to believe that all of these things happened all at once as a coincidence. This is a huge safety concern as I lost the ability to see at night, as well as the ability to monitor my speed all while trying to drive. Not to mention all of the motorists who were blinded by my high beams on the way back.

6 Turn Signal problem of the 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer

Failure Date: 08/07/2010

Low beams went off as I was driving down rural roadway. This was at 10:45 at night on my way to work. Had too sit by side of road for some time with no lights. Finally came back on. This has happened 4 other times since then. I live in a rural area, when the lights go out there are no street lights around to illuminate the roadway. I have had 2 near crashes due to the darkness of the area in which I was traveling. There are no codes being thrown when this occurs, no warnings, the lights just go out. Unable to locate failure point. High beams, turn signals, parking lights work, just not low beams.

Took Trailblazer into champion Chevrolet and they replaced turn signal module due to short circuit . Hazard flashers come on when driver moves turn signal lever up or down. Spoke to Chevrolet regarding possible recall and was told my vehicle was not part of the recall because the recall involves VIN#'s with the last four digits ending in 362 and mine ends in 361.
