1 12v/24v/48v Battery problem of the 2007 Chrysler 300

Failure Date: 01/23/2022

The contact owns a 2007 Chrysler 300. The contact stated after exiting out of their vehicle from a drive, they smell abnormal odor of plastic burning coming from the rear of their exterior of the vehicle. The contact inspected their vehicle and open their rear trunk and noticed that the plastic covering of their fuse box in their trunk had melted with melt wiring coming from fuse box to the battery. The contact stated there was no smoke or fire coming from the vehicle so nothing had to be extinguish. No fire department report was made. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 95,000.
