5 Brake Abs Warning Light problem of the 2013 Chrysler 300

Failure Date: 05/07/2015

I received a notice that my 2013 Chrysler 300 was under a recall for alternator issues. I already had noticed that my vehicle warning lights had flashed the alternator with the lightning bolt twice recently. Then my cruise went out, abs service light came on and stayed on and my traction control light came on and stayed on. The days after I reviewed the recall notice I schedule an appointment to have my car services at carl gregory in savannah GA, off abercorn st. When the service person took my car I identified the issues and he said that he will check it over to include checking the wheel sensors. Noting the wheel sensors specifically, made me a bit suspicious. Later he called me and stated that a wheel sensor went bad and it was not relational to the recall notice. He said he has the part and it would be $187 to fix it. I stated that the notice states that the wheel sensor could be impacted. He said, no sir it reads the module not the sensor and they are not close to each other. I find this technicality not fair to the consumer and I feel that this should be included in the recall. My car has 39k miles on it, is serviced regularly and has never had an issue. I find it hard to believe that the cruise, abs, and traction control going out at the same time has nothing to do with the recall.

12 Brake Abs Warning Light problem of the 2007 Chrysler 300

Failure Date: 12/10/2009

I purchased a Chrysler 300 on 11/19/09. I had an accident on 12/10/09. I have learned since the accident, there was a recall on this model concerning the antilock brake system. Since we purchased used, I don't know if this was ever corrected on our vehicle. The abs lights stays on and mechanics says it is not dangerous, just the cruise want work. We have carried this car back to dealership several times and spent over $2,000. On repairs and now they tell us it can't be fixed and we are afraid to drive the car even though they say it is o. K. To drive. Especially since I found there was a recall on this vehicle and I had a wreck. I ran into the back of a cotton wagon. I applied brakes but did not stop, just slide.
