My car has been at the first dealership (brewbaker Dodge, montgomery, ala. ) on November 11, 2020. I got the car back March of 2021. The problem of misfires on cylinder 1 side, hesitation when proceeding from a red light, and stalling out. The problem continued so; I took it to another dealership (stiver Dodge, prattville, ala. ) in August 2021. I was given the car back in February 2022 stating to me that the problem may correct itself after being driven until after my birthday (March 2022). So, to this date my car is still at the dealership and Chrysler star team has no clue what is wrong with this car. I'm still paying a car note, insurance, and renewing the license plate for this car every year and moth. Chrysler knows that there is an issue with the 3. 6l pentastar engine. No one wants to help me in this situation, but all parties involved wants my money but no real solution(s). I need someone that's going to advocate for me on my behalf. I just want Chrysler at this point to just put a new engine in the dang car and cover the charges at their expense for their defective engine. Chrysler seriously knows what's going. As long as my car has been at this dealership for over a year, how could the engineers who designed this engine not know what's wrong with? this car has very low miles to be 8yrs old with major issue. And fca doesn't want to admit to this engine (3. 6l pentastar) being a defective engine. Look at the class action lawsuits pertaining to this. Please sir / MA'am help me make sense of this. Thank you.

Low oil pressures lite comes on blinks goes out when you press down on the peddle to accelerate car replaced oil sending unit still does it has to be electrical problem car 10 years old.
I bought a 07 Chrysler 300 at 126k. I had just got an oil change like a month before and radiator clean. One day I'm driving and then I parked and then I crank it up and it just starts making noise out of no where. So I cut it off and on and it's making clacking noise. I didn't have no lights on when I bought the car 3 months ago and it still doesn't have a light on. It just locked ?? up on me out of no where. I didn't even get a chance to enjoy my car. I only had it 3 months and my motor locked up on me with no warning ?? no lights. I been reading and I see they been saying something about the oil pump going out in Chrysler motors. Now I hear they don't even make my size motor no more. U have to buy a remanufactured or rebuild one. That's alot of money I just spent to get it and now I got to pay the same amount I paid for the car for a motor because the oil pump went out without a sign or warning or light. I'm out of $5,000 and I gotta pay another $5,000 for motor. That is not right. I wish Chrysler would do something about this. That's alot of money gone down the drain in 3 months and I kept it clean and running. My oil ain't even turn color yet. It's still clear. My car been sitting down going on a whole year.

Misfiring after spark plugs have been changed. Coil was checked as well as injector pulse, which were fine. Engine lights stays on and misfiring happens when car is idle.
I went to the gas station, 2-ish mile drive and came back home. About 20 minutes later we decided to go see my mother in law, 34 highway miles away. Cool, so we go, everything is fine, beastie (that's the name of my 2006 Chrysler 300), is running good, my husband and 3yr old are jammin out to metallica, and we get to my mother in laws house. . Stay a couple hours and decided to head home. . So we say bye ect ect. . We get about 9. 5 miles down our 34 mile ride home. . . Aww crap, there is a tractor on the road, so we go to pass him. . . Or so we thought. . . Make sure coast is clear, turn on blinker and step on the gas petal more firmly. . Ok in the other lane. . And bam!! car dies in motion at 60 mph!! my husband just casually says "hey babe, I think the car just died" and I look like "haha whatever" and I couldn't believe it. . So we pull over and try to get it started, had my mil come jump us. . An hour later and we still don't have beastie started. . No clicking, no nothing. . So unfortunately beastie had to sit on the side of the road until the next day. . . The next day we got her towed to my mils house. . . That was 3 days ago. . . And beastie still hasn't started up for me. . .

Car began to loose power under pressure, engine light would flash. Usually when cold or pulling hard on a hill or passing. Engine ran rough, misfiring and out of balance. Could not continue to pass on one occassion; had to pull back, wrangle out of traffic and stop vehicle. Misdiagnosed: replaced plugs, coil & injector on valve #5. Did not correct. Finally diagnosed as bad camshaft. Vehicle has a hemi. Technician stated he has replaced many of these on various engines with a hemi in a four year range. Stated it is a common failure on those vehicles but not listed on a recall. This failure is a safety hazard. Having expectations of the vehicle to accelerate quickly, as it normally would, nearly caused me to get into an accident. Additionally bogged down traffic as the vehicle would not continue at a speed over 45 mph. Traffic became bottlenecked behind me on the interstate until I could wrangle to the shoulder. I also own a Dodge ram truck in the same year range and have been advised by the technician to be prepared for it to go out on that vehicle also.

The lifters in the car are ticking and sticking. Dealer quoted $3500 to repair. I have had this car for 3 months.
Auto shut down completely in traffic. While in motion, just died.
Driving the car under normal load,s tarted to notice a knock from the engine. Over the next few weeks it progressively got worse. Pulled plugs, checked oil. Gas, put a boroscope down the spark plug holes looking for engine damage. Finally had to have the car sent to the shop. When they got the motor torn down the bad lifter was discovered. Upon seeing that & doing some research there are quite a few posts on forums about the mds lifters on the 5. 7 & 6. 4 hemis going bad & destroying a cam. I have had oil analysis done on most oil changes through out owner ship but this wasn't picked up on from the last one. Not sure if it went out quick & destroyed the cam or if it had been happening for a while. Car only has around 75000 miles.
Camshaft / lifters are prematurely wearing out( wiped ) the car is throwing a p0300 ,p0303 code but the spark plugs, coils etc are fine . . Engine shakes and knocks while driving the smell of gasoline is evident lose of power while driving only 88000+ miles.

Nhtsa recall number: 17v-435. For the past eight months I have tried to have this service recall taken care of. I have brought my car to my local dealership multiple times and was told that the parts have not shipped yet. I have made multiple documented phone calls to the recall Chrysler customer care handling the recall for me and failed to get the replacement part. Chrysler has been delaying the recall parts so that the vehicle warranties run out. On 4/11/2018 at 1 pm Chrysler alternator started smoking. All the units in the cars were fried. Would not shut off I had no control of anything. I also have a video of what happen and getting little help from Chrysler.
