2 Engine Exhaust System problem of the 2006 Chrysler 300

Failure Date: 12/21/2011

Owner of Chrysler 300 and have taken car in every 3,000 miles as instructed by service center at dealership where I bought it. It appears dealer was notified may 27, 2015 about air bag but never called to put me on alert . Took the car to the dealer once I got the recall notice and was told it would be 6 to 8 working days. Called on day 9 and it wasn’t in. Told them I need the car for appointments and to go to work. Was told to call Chrysler in detroit about that problem. I will call dealer once a week until fixed. In the past I’ve requested a check on the sun roof and they never got the person out to check it. Said it was expensive. Asked them to check trunk because when it rains or after car washes collapses and slams shut. I was told, “there’s nothing wrong with it. ” has gotten me in the head twice. I’m pulling service receipts to check other problems. Radio goes bing bing when I turn it on and continues for a while after the radio comes on. Answer from service dept: "never heard that before". Gps system won't work. Tried to use it and it sent a message: check the disc drive (words to that affect) tried to check disc drive and can't get it to open. Button is frozen. Tow truck driver was out to charge a battery in another car and heard the tick tick going on in the Chrysler. He said take it in . . . He lost an engine because he didn't. They fixed it once and told me I got it in just in time. It's ticking again. Car appears to be in a total state of failure. Fix its: plug adapter 7-19-13; lever shift kit (car won't come of park) 7/19/13; adj tire pressure rating - $10 for technician 1/26/13; replace right head - rocker arm inlet and exhaust 12/21/11; $640 for 30,000 mile checkup and flushed engine; never once told me there were major problems. 66,254 miles.

3 Engine Exhaust System problem of the 2005 Chrysler 300

Failure Date: 04/26/2010

My engine has been ticking from the beginning about 2 days after I bought it. Cash! for my dad's birthday. . Brand new from town and country dealership. They told me to bring it back, this is in conyers GA. I took it back they kind of joke around said wasn't that the 1 on the show rm flr I said yes. Then they said maybe when they drove it from tenn. It had no oil in it. It is a new engine and it will stop, or the gas cap was not on right and they would fix it. Each time I bought it back the noise would stop for a while then it would come back. Just keep your oil changed and there will be no problem this is what mr. Larry repair boss told me. Well. I didn't hear the noise as much when I picked it up and the rental car was getting expensive and they try to tell me I didn't buy the extra warranty but I did! they told me I could keep driving it. Or they tried to sell me a newer one. . . Sell no way! because my job requires me to drive I need a good running car. (I'm a minister) now the noise is louder and the engine sounds like it is losing power. I can not say how many times I told them that the car needed a new engine but they kept on trying to sell me another car instead of replace the car or fix it with a new engine. The right side of my car pulled to the right when braking and they told me to go to good year and I did. They said it was manufacturing that they could not tighten up that side take it back but I ended up paying for good year to fix that. Now the warranty is gone for real and the noise is louder. It is not the fly wheel or the trans. It is in the engine rt side in the back under the headgasket. I'm an retired Jeep employee and I use to inspect on the engine line. I knew this was not good to keep happening so now I have to pay for a engine too? wow pistons or lifters, or something is wrong with that car in my engine! help! [xxx] is it because I'm a girl? they didn't listen or got treated this way. Help! information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).

5 Engine Exhaust System problem of the 2006 Chrysler 300

Failure Date: 03/30/2009

Check engine light has appeared on an average of 1 time per month since purchase of the vehicle 8/4/07. Repeated visits to dealership gegnas Chrysler in philadelphia PA has not corrected issue to date. Upon connection to diagnostic machinery various failure codes have appeared with one in common p0300 that relates specifically to multiple cylinder misfire or rough idle. This apparently is due to valves that are slow to close due to a build up of carbon on the valve system . Two Chrysler dealerships (brandywine Chrysler and gegnas claim to have performed this TSB each and it took less than a day to do. I have received a qualified second opinion from midas muffler that has informed me that this is not a one day job as it required removal of the manifold and cleaning and possible rotation of valves and servicing of valve springs. I have all receipts documenting the 11 returns of the vehicle to the dealership and will gladly provide them upon request. 1-800-my lemon has been sent this information as the check engine light again reappeared 3/30/09 and after asking to assist me with the car due to loss of power (they are close to my home) they provided written documentation of the code that was found and assisted me with transferring my car to dealership where no action was taken because the check engine light was not lit despite being handed the service bulletin physically by me that day. The owner stated "he needed to see the light lit- a big game that has been going on for over a year now! the check engine light reappeared 4/5/09 and I spoke with the owner of the dealership again 4/6 and arranged to bring the car back. This morning 4/8 the light is out again. Two sensors have been replaced out of four on the car sensor (1/1 and b2/s2), the pcn has been reset, valve spring retainer locks have been replaced , all spark plugs have been changed out, air filter changed, map sensor replaced, fuel system cleaned, egr valve replaced. What else is left to re left!.
