The contact purchased a 2016 Chrysler 300. The contact stated that shortly after purchasing the vehicle, the vehicle was taken to a dealer for several repairs, and the contact was concerned that there was a mileage discrepancy as per a carfax report. The vehicle was a dealer sale. At the time of purchase, the mileage was 117,338; however, the carfax report indicated that the mileage was 156,268 in February 2017. The carfax report also stated that the odometer had previously been tampered with in 2017 and indicated a mileage of 5,093 instead of 7,542. The contact stated that currently the approximate mileage was 166,801.

We purchased the vehicle and after we purchased the vehicle we noticed that the odometer was 85,453 on the contract on 04/20/2021 and we had gotten the carfax report on 05/10/2021 and in 2016 the odometers reading was 86,960 so we decided to have the further looked at for warranties at viva Dodge Chrysler and the odometer was 88,521 miles.
