1 Trunk Wiring problem of the 2006 Chrysler 300

The contact owns a 2006 Chrysler 300. The contact stated that while driving, smoke was emitted into the vehicle through the vents. The contact mentioned that after pulling over, she was unable to remove the vehicle from park and both the tail and brake lights were malfunctioning. The vehicle was towed to the dealer who diagnosed that there was a pinched wire in the trunk which caused the shortage. As a result, the wiring harness would need replacing. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure who did not offer any assistance since the vehicle was no longer under warranty. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure and current mileage was 65,000.
