The contact owns a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica. The contact stated that when she placed fuel in the vehicle, the gauge showed that the tank was full. The vehicle would only take a few gallons and nothing more. She would attempt to force more gas into the tank, but it would spill out. The vehicle shut off on the contact due to the lack of gas not indicated by the fuel gauge. The dealer replaced the level sensors the first time. The second time the vehicle was taken to the dealer, they replaced the modular fuel pump and the primary pump. On April 20, 2007, the dealer repaired the hoses on the fuel line. On March 11, 2008, the contact attempted to fill the tank, but it only took six gallons. While driving at an unknown speed, the fuel indicator went to empty and the vehicle shut off. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer and they replaced both fuel pumps. The dealer informed her that she had not run out of gas. The purchase date was unknown. The current mileage was 73,904 and failure mileage was 60,233.
