I took my 2007 Chrysler in because of fuel gauge not reading properly, dealer said I had bad fuel pumps, changed pumps and seals approximately $1100 gauge still not working dealer claims bad module paid $350. 00 gauge still not working, dealer said it could be battery cable changed that still not working, dealer said it have a bad fuel tank, changed tank fuel gauge still erratic, now car cuts off for no reason, you cannot put gas in the car without the car acting as if it is full, fuel gauge still does not work and car displaying more issues now than I started with and I have had the motor mounts at least 5 times since I had the car. Dealer even said fuel gauges sometimes jump around. I feel like I have been taken total advantage of, it appears I have been sold a defective car and no one wants to take responsibility for it. Look at the hundreds of similar complaints and Chrysler does nothing.

A check engine light illuminated and the dtc code indicated a fault in fuel evap system. A smoke test on the system revealed that the plastic tube on the fuel pump had snapped off requiring a fuel pump replacement. The fuel pumps are connected by a hose which sits on top of the fuel tank. The connection point at the on the primary fuel pump snapped off. The fuel pump, and tank is mounted above the exhuast system, so it's probably not an ideal situation to have deffective parts leaking small amounts of gasoline on top off hot exhaust. Also, after completing repairs my gas milage improved by 10%. I have saved the deffective part incase its needs for failure analysis.
Ive had this car for just over one year. I have replaced 2 motor mounts, 6 months apart. The electric cooling fan motor bearing went bad and you cant replace just the motor, you have to replace both motors, both fans and the shroud ( ridiculous ). My check engine light is on and says fuel cap on dash but I replaced the cap and now as I'm looking on this site I know its probably the gas tank lines cracked. Ive also got the sticky gas pedal, transmission bangs into 2nd randomly. My conclusion after reading about so many problems that many people are having with this vehicle is that there should be recalls. I mean jesus were talking about fire hazards and a sticking accelerator potentially causing an accident. Nothing but problems with this car at such low miles. Never again Chrysler.

The contact owns a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica touring (na). The contact stated that the fuel gauge gave incorrect fuel amounts. The vehicle was inspected by a dealer who informed the contact that they would recalibrate the gauge and for her to fill the tank again and to wait and see. After leaving the dealer and filling her tank, the failure occurred again. The manufacturer was then contacted and advised her that if the vehicle had not stalled on her they would be unable to assist. The vehicle had not been repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 50,000 and the current mileage was approximately 60,000. The VIN was unavailable.

My car won't start at least 4 times a week. You will be driving and it almost stalls. The gas tank fluctuated and does not read the right amount. Also when in reverse it has taken off on it's own at a very high rate of speed. I have had it into the dealership 25 day and 15 times in 9 months and they have replaced the map sensor, the pcm & bcm, the fuel injectors, several sensors and filters all to no avail and this was all just for the not starting. We sent in the lemon law paperwork and Chrysler refused to call us back via the dealership and refuses to talk to us when we call the 800 number. Looking at other forums there are several people with this same problem and Chrysler also ignores their complaints.
