Vehicle experienced a complete breakdown while being driven. The battery warning light had come on intermittently for two days and had it checked twice and was told the battery was fine. While driving on highway, warning lights started appearing on instrument panel showing failures in brakes, safety sensors and more. Tried to make it to a dealer 20 miles away but vehicle started shutting down. Was towed to dealer and had to have battery, alternator and pcm replaced. Was told alternator was "fried"--there were burn marks on it. Since that time the rear view mirror which controls auto headlights had to be replaced.
