All four brake system lights are lite up. Steering has become loose and steering wheel wobbles. I have changed the pads on brakes 4 times in a year and my rotors are still very grooved. Dust is sucking up into the cab of the vehicle for no reason. There is a knocking coming from the engine that sometimes is there but most of the time its present was told by the dealer I bought from that was normal in these vans. Has a hard time coming to a stop now. I can not believe this has not been recalled codes on machine that are indicated are c2200 and c2205 which are ridiculous to buy and from what I have read everyone is having problems with them.

At low speed. The car will stall and disable the power steering and brake assist. Brake warning light illuminates. The car will start back and perform with no error codes. Very risky dangerous situation. It seems as though earlier modules were recalled for the same symptoms due to a faulty ignition. There has been no recall so far on my 2014, but it is currently a very dangerous vehicle when loss of power steering and brake assist which is virtually all of the brakes for most who are used to brake assist working properly. Then it shows no code afterward.

Abs warning light and brake warning light illuminate. The brake warning light illuminates most all of the time but will go out on occasion then illuminate again and again or stay on . The brakes seem to operate normally and pass all mechanical inspections. The brake warning light will go out upon sharp elevation changes combined with sharp turning manuvers.

When driving at 30 mph esp/ bas/abs & brake lights appear on the dash, then steering became difficult . We are so grateful it's not on the highway.
Dash board warning brake lights come on intermittently, and the dealership says they can do nothing about it, and we should go ahead drive it with the warning light on. We can't get it to the dealer while it is on because the light won't stay on long enough for us to get it to them while the light is on. We had to the shop and they can't find any problem. So we have been told to drive the vehicle even though the brake warning light is on. How do we know when there is actually a problem???? it may stay on for 10 seconds or 90 seconds, and in a few minutes it comes on again. It may come on every 5 miles, or a hundred miles. We have little confidence in it the dash brake warning light. That is no way to drive a car!!! this has been going on for several months.

I started feeling a weirdness in my brakes when I went to stop normally at stop signs, when coming up to cars & stop lights, and just basic braking while turning into parking lots, driveways, etc. No slamming of brakes just normal braking. The brakes seem to start braking then they have a slip slip feelin, like it is giving out and then catching again. They found its not the abs kicking in also. I thought at one point I wasn't pressing down enough so I tried pressing harder to make sure it was pressed down enough and it still continues to do this. I had other people drive my car and they also felt this slip slip of the brakes when stopping. It used to be once in a while but now it is constant. I have had it into the shop for this issue at 2 different shops 2 times each place total of 4 times now. Nothing is done. They say they are fine. But it has gotten worse and I am afraid that they will just not stop us and not brake the car when we stop and we will end up in a major accident. My car is at 20000 miles now and I feel like they are still trying to keep having me go back and they still say brake are ok because brake light has not gone on. I cant stand it and I am now afraid when I drive it. What is there to do? Chrysler is not doing anything except giving me the run around from dealership to dealership.
Tl- the contact owns a 1993 Chrysler town and country. The contact stated that the abs brake sensor light had illuminated and when pressing the brake pedal the abs would erroneously activate. The contact notified the manufacturer who confirmed that the vehicle was included in the NHTSA recall campaign number 96v099000(brakes) which indicated that certain parts listed in the recall would be covered for the life of the vehicle. But after taking the vehicle to the dealer to have the recall remedy performed the dealer refused to work on the vehicle, indicating that the vehicle was too old. The contact notified the manufacturer of the problem and two additional dealers were contacted but both refused to work on the vehicle also indicating that the vehicle was too old. The failure mileage was 101,000. Jft.
Drove car approx 100 feet, 1st thing in the morning. Used brakes at end of driveway, then started driving and all 4 brake related lights came on - abs light, traction control light, brake light, esp bas light. All 4 lights remained on. They were not on when car intially started, but came on immediately after using the brakes for the 1st time. Always remained on until car was turned off. Took car to shop next day and the diagnostic showed the anti lock module was failing. Not overly safe to drive young kids around, so we went ahead with the repair. Chrysler informed the shop that they sell roughly 15 of these parts a week. Shop questioned why they were not recalled as that # is quite high. New module has been in for about a week and all seems fine.
The contact owns a 1993 Chrysler town and country. The contact stated that the abs and the emergency brake lights flashed then suddenly remained illuminated. In addition, the brake pedal required excessive force in order to stop the vehicle. The failure occurred on several occasions. The vehicle was towed to an authorized dealer, who diagnosed that the abs dual pressure switch or the abs dual function switch needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed that the VIN was not included in NHTSA campaign id number: 96v099000 (service brakes, hydraulic). The approximate failure mileage was 77,000.
The brake lights on the drivers side failed. These lights are led lights and meant to last the life of the vehicle. They cannot be changed like a standard brake light. This is a safety hazard when stopping or driving at night.

My vehicle brake light came on along with the anti lock light. I could hear a hum noise under the hood at the braking unit. Brake pedal got very hard and had to use both feet along with putting the vehicle into neutral to slow down and stop! braking abs system was replaced because of same failure 07/2009. Now being told no dealer has the equipment to test that system and Chrysler corp told me there is no warranty on those parts! I was told last time it was replaced that the pump/motor unit was warranted as long as I own the vehicle and all other parts of that unit extended warranty of 100,000 miles. Vehicle has been sitting the last three years! just decided to drive it again 11/2014. Can go out and drive it right now and everything works fine. But brakes give out at anytime, although the brake light no longer comes on! seems once that system gets too hot the brakes fail. Let it sit for a day or two and it works again! right now I can't get it tested. Everyone says they can't do it. Last dealer that did replaced the unit had me bring the vehicle there again. Then called me and said they had good news and bad news. Good news was they had the part. Bad news they couldn't test the system for go ahead from Chrysler to replace it. Chrysler today said sorry, and hope we can be of service to you in the future! now what? ps- since talking to Chrysler after contacting them again, that dealer now says they don't even have the part anymore! after being asked by Chrysler how do they have the part in stock but can't test the system!.
On March 10, 2010 my husband was driving our 2000 Chrysler Town & Country home when he applied the brakes and the pedal went to the floor! luckily he was on our street near our home therefore he wasn't going very fast. There was brake fluid coming from under the van & the brake fluid reservoir was empty! thank god he didn't have an accident and no one was hurt! this ,however did happen approx. 5 years ago with this van and he was in an accident and we did report this to daimlerchrysler. Com. Now I do think this year & model car should be looked at. My husband, in both cases, never had a brake light go on or any sign of anything to think the brake line was in need of attention. He is very strict on maintenance with our vehicles. The 1st time, when the brakes were applied, the seals in the rear brake blew out which caused the loss of the fluid hence no brakes. We now have had the van towed and will it be looked at tomorrow 3/11.

2008 Chrysler Town & Country. Took car to dealership because brake light was coming on & brakes not working properly. Dealer said front brakes were down to metal on metal. $495 to replace pads and rotors. Only 23,500 miles on the garage kept vehicle. Not covered under warranty. Rotors are badly grooved with shredded metal hanging off. Dealership service department says the brakes are only lasting 20-25,000 miles on the minivans. At a minimum, the rotors should be covered under warranty, but pads and rotors should last longer than 23,500 miles.
The contact owns a 1999 Chrysler town and country. While the contact's daughter was approaching a traffic light, the brake pedal extended to the floor when it was depressed. The vehicle barely slowed down and glided through a red light. A mechanic stated that the brake light separated from the stainless steel to the solid steel. The current mileage was 100,020 and failure mileage was 100,001.
