Carrier/rack Problems of Dodge Charger

Tl- the contact owns a 2019 Dodge Charger. The contact stated after the was purched he experienced multiple body defectsalong withthe body sealer being cracked. The vehicle was taken to (dupage cdjr 433 e n Ave, glendale heights, IL 60139) for repairs. After the vehicle was returned to the contact he noticed that 75% of the defects wase still visible. The contact attempted to service the vehicle at 5 other Dodge dealers and was denied because the original details were manipulated. The manufacturer was notified of the defects but offered very little assistance. The vehicle is under 1,000 miles and has not been repaired. Tp.

The oil cooler has cracked causing oil to leak while the vehicle is stationary causing nearing $800. 00 to repair.

We bought our car new, it has been at the Dodge dealer for repairs for the same things over and over for 6 months total time in shop. 1. The battery saver mode comes on, and then the steering gets hard, the alt. Has been replace, extra wiring added to add more grounds. This affects the way the car drives. When the battery saver mode is on the power steering stops working or works less. The power steering pump and rack and pinion has been replaced twice. This problem happens every day, in town or on the freeway. 2. The radio keeps shorting out, it's been replaced 3 times. This happens daily, it quits, blew out the speakers, navagtion stopped working. 3. The heater keeps getting stuck on either 100% hot or 100% a/c on cold. Settings will not change. Controls have been replaced 3 times, the heat/cold door motor was replace twice. The car has spent 185 days in service this year. When they give the car back it acts up in about 5 mins. The car is going back in for the radio and battery saver mode and steering on Monday. I picked the car up Friday and it failed less than a mile from the dealership.

With vehicle in park and brake peddle pushed down, gear shifter would no shift from park to any gear. Turned car off and open door then shut door. Restarted the car and still same results. Looked under the steering column and found a metal bracket had fallen out from the shift column. Upon replacing the metal bracket, shifter would shift to any gear but would not go back into park. Shifter would stop in neutral and not go to reverse or park. Upon tilting the metal bracket that had fallen, the transmission would return to reverse and park.

04/15/2015 there was a mutual accident or faulty due to second driver being blinded by a truck on a merge into a drive thru banking at pnc bank n 87th and cottage grove chicago, illinois. I was sitting in the turn and the other car hit the vehicle at 45 mph on a 30 mph speed limit. There was minimal damage to the other drivers front bumper, also structural damage to mine. However, the entire bumper fell off the vehicle, there is approximately 4500 dollars worth of repairs to be done. At any rate the bumper should have sustained a dent or crack not the entire bumper fall off and all plastic pieces holding it together either. What it is with a 20k + car that a hit even at that speed would take the entire bumper off a car and all pieces have to be replaced along with the condenser. That's a really bum deal for a car that supposed to be safe. It can't handle nothing. But an older car can please investigate car structure for defects. Obviously there is and not fair at all please allow manufacture to do repairs not fair at all. Who makes a bumper on any car plastic and the screws too. Please help not fair.

I have had numerous recalls on this car, especially one that is pending that does not seem to have a remedy yet, I also had a problem with the driver seat making cracks and squeaky noises as well as losing my settings so I often have to adjust the seat , I took the car in about 4-5 times for this repair and it was never done correctly.

I was driving along coming to a stop, when the car cut out. Just flat went dead. No power, no lights on the dash, no real ability to brake, no power steering. Nothing. Lost all power. Came to a stop in traffic. It sat there for about 5 mins then started back up. Took it to the dealer (big valley Dodge in van nuys, CA. - now out of business) but they couldn't find anything. Didn't happen again til about 5-6 weeks ago. Making a left hand turn in traffic. Just as I finished the turn, the car went dead. Basically the same symtoms as before. Started up in about 3-5 minutes. I reached my destination (working out at the track). 1. 5 hours later I had someone follow me home. Within 3 blocks the car did the same thing. Called Dodge corporate. They told me to take it in. Took the car to what used to be big valley but now is the superstore and had them check it out. They found nothing. About 3 week ago, it happened again but this time on the freeway in rush hour traffic. Luckily the traffic was so slow that I wasn't traveling at a great rate of speed. Again I was able to start it up. This time I had someone in the car with me. This car is a dangerous weapon and an incredible risk for any one who drives it and anyone who drives in front or behind. Something has to be done.
