Electrical Jack Problems of Dodge Charger

Received recall notice from Dodge for spare tire jack that could bend body side sill during operation. Contacted my local Dodge dealer in redlands for appointment and have never heard back from them. How do I get this resolved if the dealer wont get back to me?.

Spare tire jack recall - when I tried to schedule an appointment with the dealer they said it would take at least 2 hours and the recall notice says it should take 30 minutes. I cannot take that much unpaid leave from work for a recall that should not take that much time.

I was using the scissor jack on my 2007 Dodge Charger to place my car on jack stands in order to change the oil. As I was removing the jack stands, the scissor jack failed while the car was raised far enough to remove the jack stand. Had I not use jack stands I certainly would have been crushed. I know that many folks do no employ jack stands while working on their cars and this equipment defect certainly has the potential to kill somebody.
