2 Recreational Vehicle Lpg Tank Valve/gauge problem of the 2008 Dodge Charger

Failure Date: 07/19/2019

The radiator cooling fan exploded and punctured the radiator as I was sitting in a restaurant drive thru spilling the coolant . Vehicle temperature gauge showed extreme hot temperature. I found a service campaign bulletin ref # l08 about the fan separating during operation and causing damage to the radiator for Dodge vehicles for years 2006-2008 that were made prior to April 20, 2008. Mine was made June 2, 2008 and that is exactly what occurred with it on July 19, 2019. Luckily I wasn't stranded out in the middle of nowhere or on the highway or involved in an accident on the roadway.

4 Recreational Vehicle Lpg Tank Valve/gauge problem of the 2012 Dodge Charger

Failure Date: 07/02/2017

I was driving home from a family reunion last night at 11pm on the highway which is 65-80mph and no street lights whatsoever, with my two year old son and fianc in the car and out of nowhere the vehicle had completely went haywire and shut down. My lights went out including exterior lighting and the gauges went black and wipers and heat were going crazy. I then panicked because I had never seen such a thing and tried to get off the highway as soon as I could without being hit by the semi that watched my car go dark and tried to prevent an accident by puting on his hazards and following me. I had no breaks no traction control and no power steering, making it extremely dificult to finally get the car at rest. I was terrified for my family and I's safety as my cars malfunction could have caused a terrible accident and deaths. . . I then began to look up why my car had done what it did and it seems that multiple people are having this problem with this model and still nothing has been done for any of us who had went through this distress. I hope to get all of this figured out ASAP. No car with these problems should be on the street. My two year old should never had witnessed something for terrifying.

5 Recreational Vehicle Lpg Tank Valve/gauge problem of the 2007 Dodge Charger

Failure Date: 05/01/2015

This is an ongoing problem that began sometime after the airbag recall replacement and continues to happen. Car can be in motion driving down the road or stationary in park or with foot on the brake. For some unknown reason I will hear a ding ding ding, simultaneously all lights will start blinking and the gauges go hay wire dropping and jumping. All alerts will be flashing (including but not limited to gas, transmission, brake etc. ). Since a picture cannot exemplify what is happening, a video of a similar (if not the same) problem can be found here: https://youtu. Be/qdz-uczi2de this is not a video of my car but it is similar to what is happening in my car.

6 Recreational Vehicle Lpg Tank Valve/gauge problem of the 2009 Dodge Charger

Failure Date: 10/06/2012

I own a 2009 Dodge Charger. When cranking engine all the check lights came on (including engine, coolant, tire check, etc. ). The tempature gauge was also all the way cold. I cut the engine off. The engine was slow to crank but did crank. I drove not even a half mile and the temp guage was going from cold to hot and then the engine stopped. When I opened the hood I found my car was smoking and the coolant was almost bone dry. Prior to this incident no check lights have appeared. I took my car to landers Dodge in southaven, ms they ran a check and preformed maintance to my car and added coolant. Now, a month and half later my car is smoking again and coolant is extremely low. While my car is smoking and almost no coolant, temp gauge is not detecting my car running hot. I believe my sensors are not working correctly and have a faulty coolant container. Thanks!.
