Front Air Bag Problems of Dodge Dakota - part 2

While driving about 5 mph over a steel plate defective airbag system (driver and passenger ) deployed unexpectedly which may have caused a loss of vehicle control and sustained injuries. Dealer said there was an under carriage impact which caused the air bag to deploy. Consumer indicated there was no undercarriage impact.

While driving a drunken driver hit consumer on driver's side, and none of the airbags deployed.

While traveling at highway speed of 60-65 mph both air bags deployed for no reason. Vehicle did not hit or bump anything. Condition almost caused a collision. Dealer notified.

But, after the second time, dealer wanted consumer to contact the insurance company.

When crashing into a tree, mostly on the left front side of truck, the seat belt did not hold the driver and there was no deployment of air bags. Owner not sure if truck was totalled.

Air bags deployed causing driver to slam on brakes. This resulted in the suspension crossmember of the vehicle to bend upon impact with the dirt road from the sudden stop.
