When turning the car off, the key fob gets stuck in the ignition. This sometimes can be resolved by turning the steering wheel, pressing on the brake and adjusting the shifter forward to click into park. It's as if the shifter is not recognizing the car is in park so it will not release the key fob. It could usually by fixed easily, now takes sometimes 1-3 minutes; which includes restarting the car and putting it in reverse or drive and back into park. It happens frequently & then will stop for a few days. I took my car to the dealership last week for this issue and the transmission slipping from drive to neutral while I'm driving and they couldn't duplicate the problem as they stated. However, just the past two days it's happening again. This is similar to the issue from the 2019 recall for the bushing cables. There is an obvious issue as this is not normal. I don't know what to do to fix this if the dealership says they can't find a problem. Is there a new recall or other similar complaints? especially from other Dodge Dart owners who also had a part repaired in 2019 due to the last recall?.

Tl-the contact owns a 2013 Dodge Dart. At any speed the transmission would slip into neutral wtih no warning. When this happened the contact had to pull over. The contact stated that their transmission was made by alfa romero. The vehicle was taken to alfa romero burlingame 2 California dr, burlingame, CA 94010 (877) 895-2009 where the mechanics stated that a new transmission would be $7,000. 00. On evening of Friday November 9, 2018, the transmission began to slip and was very sluggish. The next day November 10, 2018 at 12:15 pm while driving on hwy 485 in charlotte nc and before I could take it to the dealer for a check; the clutch brake exploded like a grenade, sending schrapnal through the transmission. We were lucky it didn't come through the cab or my family would have been killed. The traffic was very heavy due to the holiday weekend, we were also lucky that we didn't get into an accident. I have driven standard transmissions all my life and this has never happened. To say the very least I am upset this vehicle should be under warrantee due to the low mileage and since I bought it on Jan 29, 2016, it is under 3 years. However, I am looking at a $3500 bill to repair or replace the transmission. This is completely unacceptable, the clutch brake should never explode like that. Chrysler is selling weak manufactured parts to the public. This should be recalled and checked or replaced with a better clutch brake before someone is killed.

takata recall have had my car almost 2 months now and never had a problem. Drove smooth. This morning on the way to work still no problems what so ever. Not even the slightest to make me think there was one. Then when I left to get lunch and stuck in reverse it jumped. I brushed it off thinking it wasn't major since it was one time deal. Then as driving I could feel the transmission starting to slip. So I had to turn back and park it as is.
I bought a brand new 2014 Dodge Dart aero and about 3 weeks after purchasing my car stalled and shut off, the transmission light came on. I took it to Dodge and they said they did not have a code but they saw an issue with my anti-lock brake system. A part to my transmission was recalled, we waiting for over 3 months for the part and upon bringing my car to the dealership they reported my car not starting. About 3 weeks after my transmission recall was "fixed" my engine starting smoking upon starting the car at least 5 times and my engine was completely replaced, they again reported my car would not crank. My car was in the shop for 27 days, two days after picking my car up it was brought back to the dealor for the car feeling like the transmission was slipping at various speeds. It's been almost 2 weieks with no update. Dodge resolutions has sent an inspector. Initially the car was purchased with about 220 miles on it, the car is only at 17,000 now.
While driving down the freeway I felt a weird popping. I exited the freeway and came to a stop. When I pushed on the gas to go again, the car wouldn't respond. The check engine light and check transmission light came on. It was in drive and wouldn't go, so I put in park and turned the car off. I then turned it back on it would go into gear and I could drive, but the transmission kept slipping. I took it to a dealer and they said it just needed a software update, which they did. Less then 24 hours later it started happening again. I've only had this car for a month and now I'm starting to think this is why the previous owner traded it in.
Tl-the contact owns a 2013 Dodge Dart. The contact stated that while driving 55 mph, the transmission slipped into neutral. The vehicle was repaired but the issue recurred. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The failure mileage was 29,000. Ad.
Owned this vehicle for 10 months and issues with engine stalling/hesitation have gotten progressively worse since my first encounter at the dealership at 13,300 miles. I first reported this issue with engine stalling/hesitation and they stated it was a spark plug/plug wire issue, (iridium spark plugs rated for 100,000 miles). After replacing the spark plug they then determined it needed a control module replaced and an engine reset for my computer system. After that it has been in a few more times over the last 3 months for the same engine stalling and hesitation issues. My engine has been "reset and the computer updated" and since my gas mileage has gotten worse as well as the stalling/hesitation issues are still there and becoming more frequent. Then my transmission started slipping as I was in d as if I had put my vehicle into n and pressed the gas pedal just revving the engine, it has done the same when I switch to put my vehicle in r. I took it back to the dealer and they couldn't duplicate the issue therefore giving them nothing to go by other than my word of mouth experience. Days after taking my vehicle home from the dealer it went out on my as I was driving on a major thoroughway at 50mph. I pressed the gas approaching an intersection and it just revved the engine, lights flashed on shifter and dash. I had to manually switch through my gears to try and get the car to go. After my husband pulled my vehicle to the nearest parking area safely I tried to start the vehicle again and go forward, it wouldn't start right away it tried to crank but wouldn't turn over when it started just the service engine light was on my dash no more errors were displayed. I did manage to take pictures with my cellphone before. I want Dodge to own up and fix this instead od putting a bandaid and sending me along. Customer care has not been helpful at all and this vehicle is not safe.
