My car stalled and showed the check engine light. I took it to my usual repair shop. The first diagnostics indicated coils and spark plugs were the problem. So they we re fixed. Shortly (a few miles) after the repair, the car stalled. The second diagnostic at the shop indicated a new battery was needed. That was installed. (a few more miles after this repair) the car c ontinued to stall. For the third diagnostic, I was told to take it to a transmission shop. (and "I wouldn't drive it til it was repaired") I had it towed to a transmission shop. They rebuilt the transmission, and found (what I consider the reason for a recall) the flex plate had its center torn out. This may have caused shards to damage parts of the engine. There was a lot of fluid leakage and they had to install a new radiator. They wanted me to have them check it out in 2 weeks. In less than a week the car stalled and died,(thankfully in a parking lot) with all the dashboard warning lights. I was close to a dealer, so I had it towed to the Dodge dealer, hoping they would know how to fix it. There was still a lot of fluid leakage. They replaced the radiator and other stuff, and for the past week or so it is driving well.
The driver side active head rest deployed while driving on the highway striking me in the back of the head. Luckily it did not cause any accidents or injuries.

My backup camera is a safety concern because it does not work. Also, my headlights are defective because moisture gets into them. These issues should be recalled.

My headrest deployed while driving with a passenger in the seat.
Windshield is coated with a plastic to prevent rock chips. The wipers have grooved the plastic. If the sun is shining and we were to try to clean the windshield it would be very hard to see the road. Seems like a manufacturing defect.
My driver side head rest deployed without an accident.
I got my Dodge Journey 2020@tiffin auto mart year 2023 opportunity my rearview camera shown upside-down. Appreciated your attention. Thanks!.

Thermostat hose & something with the transmission as well. Speed not doing what it’s supposed to do.
Backup camera blurry, or no image, or upside down.
I keep getting a navigation map update warning. When I try to update the map data I am told by Dodge that the map updates are no longer available. I expect to pay for the updates and the fact that they are not available is causing issues. When currently using the nav system I have found that road exists that are supposed to be on the left road side have changed to the right. This caused sudden lane changes and has the potential of causing accidents, as stated I expect to pay for the updates and not have them available is a safety issue.
Back up camera stopped working.
The front passenger headrest deployed for no reason. No hit or collision occurred.
Both driver and passenger headrests popped open randomly while my car was in park.

Not wanting to start code p0562.
I am currently having an issue where my climate control turns itself on even after I turn it off. Just recently my dual control for the climate would switch back to single even after selecting to have it dual. At this moment my air/heat is always on and I really have no need to keep the windows down unless it gets too warm and I need to let cooler air in.
Faulty keyless ignition node.
The back up camera has stopped working, sometimes it is a black screen, other times it's just a series of colors with no image. This makes it hard to back up safely.
Unknown and my air bag light keeps coming on even though we have gotten the coolant fixed and a new/used engine put in the car, we replaced and got a new battery and new alternator in it to and the oil has gotten changed in it.
Backup camera works when it wants to. Most times it's upside down, or staticky. Dealership says the only fix is to replace it, but we can't afford that. It's a safety hazard.
Back up camera has black screen, it flickering sometimes upside down.
Park / natural switch, from my understanding there is no recall, but I have had some close encounter driving and my car just shuts off, I was told its the park/neutral switch. , have to throw it in park foot on the brake try to put it in neutral and throw it back into park and start he engine. Ugh.

The drive seat headrest popped open for no apparent reason. My son had placed a hand on the back of the seat when entering the back seat and it just popped right open. From what I understand this is a safety feature when in an accident. That feature is no longer working so that places myself at risk when driving. It obviously malfunctioned, and needs to be replaced. I have not yet taken it to get serviced. There were no warning lights regarding this issue and this happened about six months ago.

My engine dies while I'm driving without any warning/indicators. The engine light comes on as well. The diagnostic code reads p0335. There is a recall for my make model year but my VIN isn't listed in Dodge's database. There have been multiple incidents over the past few months.
When shifting car in reverse the image on the rearview mirrior for the backup camera was twice inverted. The next day while the car was in reverse the mirror display just consistantly flashed black and white with no real image.
Throttle system gave out in 2018. Had the system replaced. Throttle light is still coming on and will lose pressure. And the rear back windshield wiper will not go all the way down. And heating/cooling system is not working properly in the front part of the SUV. Or in the back.
My back up camera isn't working and none of the locks work with the key fob. I bought my car from a car lot and it was a fleet car and it says all recalls have been fixed but my car hasn't been fixed at all and I don't know why. My car won't even charge my phone at all in either port so it has a big wiring problem. I have kids and grandkids in my car all the time and I can not see behind me because my camera hasn't worked since the day I got it which is 10/20/23 and that is really dangerous and I can't even charge my phone to call someone even if I do have an accident.
Headrest saftey mechanism deployed due to the tension pin breaking internally while sitting in a driveway. Nothing caused deployment other than random device faliure.
My vehicle floods constantly, I’ve had it fixed 4 times, I believe it floods through moon roof.
The driver's headrest in my 2016 Dodge Journey has deployed and will not reset. The plastic pieces that hold the metal bar have broken. I have read about many other owners of Journeys, that are experiencing the same issue, yet there is no official recall. I have not taken it to be inspected.
Backup camera goes out while you are going in reverse. Goes in and out and doesn’t work.
