Windshield is coated with a plastic to prevent rock chips. The wipers have grooved the plastic. If the sun is shining and we were to try to clean the windshield it would be very hard to see the road. Seems like a manufacturing defect.

I keep getting a navigation map update warning. When I try to update the map data I am told by Dodge that the map updates are no longer available. I expect to pay for the updates and the fact that they are not available is causing issues. When currently using the nav system I have found that road exists that are supposed to be on the left road side have changed to the right. This caused sudden lane changes and has the potential of causing accidents, as stated I expect to pay for the updates and not have them available is a safety issue.
Back up camera stopped working.
The front passenger headrest deployed for no reason. No hit or collision occurred.
Both driver and passenger headrests popped open randomly while my car was in park.

Not wanting to start code p0562.
I am currently having an issue where my climate control turns itself on even after I turn it off. Just recently my dual control for the climate would switch back to single even after selecting to have it dual. At this moment my air/heat is always on and I really have no need to keep the windows down unless it gets too warm and I need to let cooler air in.
Faulty keyless ignition node.
The back up camera has stopped working, sometimes it is a black screen, other times it's just a series of colors with no image. This makes it hard to back up safely.
Unknown and my air bag light keeps coming on even though we have gotten the coolant fixed and a new/used engine put in the car, we replaced and got a new battery and new alternator in it to and the oil has gotten changed in it.
Backup camera works when it wants to. Most times it's upside down, or staticky. Dealership says the only fix is to replace it, but we can't afford that. It's a safety hazard.
Back up camera has black screen, it flickering sometimes upside down.
Park / natural switch, from my understanding there is no recall, but I have had some close encounter driving and my car just shuts off, I was told its the park/neutral switch. , have to throw it in park foot on the brake try to put it in neutral and throw it back into park and start he engine. Ugh.

The drive seat headrest popped open for no apparent reason. My son had placed a hand on the back of the seat when entering the back seat and it just popped right open. From what I understand this is a safety feature when in an accident. That feature is no longer working so that places myself at risk when driving. It obviously malfunctioned, and needs to be replaced. I have not yet taken it to get serviced. There were no warning lights regarding this issue and this happened about six months ago.

My engine dies while I'm driving without any warning/indicators. The engine light comes on as well. The diagnostic code reads p0335. There is a recall for my make model year but my VIN isn't listed in Dodge's database. There have been multiple incidents over the past few months.
When shifting car in reverse the image on the rearview mirrior for the backup camera was twice inverted. The next day while the car was in reverse the mirror display just consistantly flashed black and white with no real image.
Throttle system gave out in 2018. Had the system replaced. Throttle light is still coming on and will lose pressure. And the rear back windshield wiper will not go all the way down. And heating/cooling system is not working properly in the front part of the SUV. Or in the back.

My back up camera isn't working and none of the locks work with the key fob. I bought my car from a car lot and it was a fleet car and it says all recalls have been fixed but my car hasn't been fixed at all and I don't know why. My car won't even charge my phone at all in either port so it has a big wiring problem. I have kids and grandkids in my car all the time and I can not see behind me because my camera hasn't worked since the day I got it which is 10/20/23 and that is really dangerous and I can't even charge my phone to call someone even if I do have an accident.
Headrest saftey mechanism deployed due to the tension pin breaking internally while sitting in a driveway. Nothing caused deployment other than random device faliure.
My vehicle floods constantly, I’ve had it fixed 4 times, I believe it floods through moon roof.
The driver's headrest in my 2016 Dodge Journey has deployed and will not reset. The plastic pieces that hold the metal bar have broken. I have read about many other owners of Journeys, that are experiencing the same issue, yet there is no official recall. I have not taken it to be inspected.
Backup camera goes out while you are going in reverse. Goes in and out and doesn’t work.
I have brought the car to the dealership three times. It stalls and hesitates when accelerating. The dealership cannot recreate the issue because it only happens after you've been driving all day running errands and they don't have anyone that can duplicate the problem. It has stalled on me several times in traffic are leaving fast food. Restaurants with my grandchildren installed across three lanes of traffic and when backing out of the driveway it stalled on the highway. The dealership explained to me that this particular motor consumes oil and goes into a protection mode. There are no check engine lights. Are any warning lights that ever come on in the vehicle. I only have 33,000 mi . I was explained to me that I need to start checking my oil about every thousand miles but that is just a manufacturer's defect in the motor and it just consumes oil. That was told to me by benjamin ,my service advisor at ralph sellers Dodge Chrysler Jeep I'm now scared to drive my vehicle.
The headrest deployed for no reason. It hurt my neck really bad. Luckily I was at a red light or im might have crashed.
Between 2020-2023, my car has completely shut off while driving down the road. I lose all power steering and the ability to use the gas and brake pedals. When this happens there is no warning light at all. Every time I’ve taken it to the dealership they can’t figure out the problem and it keeps happening. In total it has probably shut off on me 20-30 times. It doesn’t matter the situation or how fast I’m going, it just shuts off and stops working. I believe my car starting doing this anywhere from 145,000-180,000 miles. When I get to the side of the road after coasting with what I have left I turn the car off and then back on and it starts right back up no problem. I’m sick and tired of dealing with this and absolutely no one can figure it out. I’ve put so much money into this car and quite frankly it’s a death trap and I know that others with my vehicle are having the exact same problem. Why hasn’t this car been recalled? my children and I could literally die because I may not have time to get over on the road.
Went to get in car and the passenger headrest had deployed overnight.
In my Journey my back up camera is the mirror not the center one. The thing is my mirror doing the same thing cant even see and idk how. Its all blurry the thing is the mirror looks really good and the camera. Im original owner. Also the cruise control doesn't even work or operate. Its wild how having a vehicle will have so many important things fail. I see hondas from the 90s and their cruise working, and cars that had their first back up like a 2010 Acura zdx I tinted worked like it was brand new still and its still ome for tht owner.
