The vehicle was then taken to the dealer for a diagnosis. The dealer stated that the valve springs needed to be repaired. The vehicle was not repaired. 2004 Dodge Ram quad cab with hemi engine. For several years has been stalling, when I finally realized it was stalling shortly after fueling and letting the fuel hose click off. I have had it to the dealer 3x and the usual no problem found answer was given. Just recently after stalling in an intersection after getting gas I took it back to the dealer. They replaced the vapor canister, solenoid and flashed the computer with an update. Picked up the vehicle and same thing happened stalled while turning into a grocery. Took it back dealer says no idea what it is-so they said all that is left is to change the fuel tank assembly, including fuel pump. I just fueled up, let the gas hose click off and now I don't see the stall, at least as yet. There are thousands of complaints out there with the same problem occurring each day and puts folks lives at danger when the vehicle is running slowly and/or turning at intersections etc. Chrysler should live up to the recognition od this serious safety problem.

The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where they were unable to duplicate or diagnose the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 stalls when making turns. This started when the truck had about 12k miles and seems to be getting worse. I have taken to the dealership, and told there was nothing wrong with the vehicle. Of course now it has 43k and is out of warranty so I cannot afford to take for $100 diagnostic everytime truck stalls, just to be told nothing is wrong. This is very dangerous because the steering and brakes are almost non existent when this happens and it usually happens when making a turn. I just hope that it doesn't happen in heavy traffic. I have read online that this is not just my truck and others have the same problem. Why does Dodge not step up and correct the problem? does it take a death before they do?.

While starting up the vehicle engine idled on its own. Also, when coming to stop vehicle stalled. Consumer tried to restart, and was able to start vehicle and drive it to the dealer for inspection. However, mechanic could not duplicate or resolve the problem.

The vehicle stalled while driving at 55 mph. The consumer managed to pull over and had the vehicle towed. The dealership was notified, but did not resolve the problem. The cause has yet to be determined.

Consumer complained previously to dealer about water and salt splashing onto motor due to lack of a motor guard. Dealer advised consumer that if guard was installed warranty would be voided. The vehicle's fuel rails were corroded and the consumer was very concerned they will break, and spew gas over engine and cause a fire.

The vehicle stalled on several occasions. When the vehicle stalls, the consumer is afraid of being rear ended. The dealer can't duplicate the problem.

My truck stalls unexpectedly up to 3 times a day almost alway in the evening. This happens within the first 3 miles that I drive. The truck is then very hard to get started and keep running. I have had the truck in for service 3 times, and have also contacted the customer service center and repeatedly get un returned phone calls. This truck is life threatening to me my family and anyone else that is around when this happens.

On several occasions, while driving, consumer states clutch seized and vehicle stalled. Dealer replaced clutch assembly and flywheel and found clutch disc burned out. Customer states the transmission clunks when shifting. Customer states vehicle will buck when attempting to start in 1st gear. Vehicle shudders when driving and customer has completely lost clutch.

Engine completely fell apart and was replaced by northe star Dodge in san antonio. Air conditioner has relay problems. Transmission found to have clutch pieces in it by independant used car tester. All windows and doors have air leaks and rain leaks. Vehicle leaks water up throught he floor board when driving in rain. Vehicle also shudders dramatically when going over 40 mph. Carberator has choke problems and is hard to start. Most if not all of these problems were reported to Dodge within 10,000 miles of purchase but due to stalling techiches by fiesta Dodge nothing has ever been remedied.

Spent $1200 to rebuild entire front end of car due to excessive clunking and looseness after only 40,000 miles of lite street use. Factory installed componants obvoiusly inferior quality or defective. Dailmer Chrysler was willing to assist in the costs of the repair until the bills came in. Daimler Chrysler walked away from the issue. Rear window water leak - suggest other owners to look on passenger side for water ponding adjacent to sill plate at rear of seat. Rear factory sliding window defective. Must replace with alternate selection. Headliner will not fit properly on alternate selection - beware. Dodge Ram owners beware. This owner jumping ship from Dodge/Chrysler products. Only owned this vehical for 11 months.

While driving the vehicle will stall, and while in reverse position the vehicle will also stall. Also, there is a transmission leak which may cause a fire. Dealer replaced parts of the transmission. Dealer cannot determine problem.

My name is john simonelli and I purchased a Dodge Ram truck. I had many problems with it like brakes,air, fuel problems, raidiator, and worse of all stalling on left turns. I reported to bell Dodge of my truck stalling on left turns. They looked at it once and said the truck was ok. After that I took the truck down to the dealer each time reporting of incident. All they did was document the problem and send me away. They would not even make an attempt to solve the problem despite the danger the truck was to me and others. To prove my case I had to push them to hook up a CO-pilot for readings. The computer would show the vehicle died for some unknown reason. However the CO-pilot would not tell them how to fix problem so their for the problem did not excist. Then I had to drive around with a cam-corder to record problem. After doing so I was forced to sell vehicle because they did not know how to fix problem and would not give me a new truck. I have too much to say so if you have any questions please call me. I took a 14,500 dollar loss on my vehicle, someone else is driving this unsafe vehicle, and finaly both bell Dodge and dalmler Chrysler ignored my lawyer which cost me an additional 2,600.

Numerous problems with 2003 Dodge Ram since ownership. The consumer experienced a stalling problem that occurred whenever the vehicle was coming to a stop or idling. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who could not diagnose the problem. Power steering fluid leaked due to faulty clamp. The vehicle was leaking transmission fluid due to a faulty output seal at the transfer case.

Intermittently when vehicle makes a left or right turn vehicle will stall out and die. Dealer has been notified.

While travel at any speed vehicle stalled and lost power.

Driving at approximately 70 mph engine piston rings, failed causing vehicle to stall on the highway.

While driving, consumer discovered that crankshaft was misaligned and knocked bearings out of the rods. Dealer installed remanufactured engine in truck at 54,000 miles, the remanufactured engine had a knock in it from day one of installation, consumer took truck back to dealer, dealer replaced pan and bearings.
