A few days later while the contact's husband was driving at 80 mph with a horse trailer attached to the vehicle, the vehicle caught fire. I purchased this unit because it rode good for my condition,plus could carry my wheelchair. I am now afraid to drive it. I spent money on new because I needed dependability as I can not walk if it breaks. Plus much of the time my pain levels are very high and I just want to get to my destination or home as driving causes me a lot of extra pain. My truck has never been off road or abused as I am 56 years old and try to take care of my truck. I have read on the internet others are experiencing this problem and some dealers work with them some do not,but the only repair is buying after market parts. I am on my own and can not leave the truck at a dealer and still have the issue.

I have a 2005 Ram 1500, 4. 7 liter engine. Single cab. Vehicle engine cuts off when making right hand turns. Has happened multiple times last summer. I have been to the dealership every time. Only happens when hot outside and humidity is high.

When accelerating from a stop vehicle would only go 5-10 mph. Consumer would have to restart the vehicle to temporarily fix the problem. Dealership was notified, but did not resolve the problem.

Engine spark knock as a result of a bad plenum gasket. Dodge apparently will not fix, unless I come up with $450-$500. I bought the truck used and apparently there was a service bulletin for that particular problem, but I had no idea that it neede to be done. By the way, I bought the truck in Jan of 2003 and the bulletin was released in Feb of 2003. I would have thought that I would have received a notice in the mail, but did not and now I'm on the hook for the repair.

While driving the vehicle engine died out, lost oil pressure. Took the vehicle to the dealer and they refuse to work on the vehicle as a warranty, due to the build up of sludge in the engine. Dealer will only replace the engine if the consumer pays the amount of $5,000. Ph.

A/c "warms up in heavy traffic or at light. Blows cold while moving down highway only. I have had it to 2 different dealers and both say that Dodge put an inadequate blower/compreesor in the vehicle for its size. One dealers "solution" is to run a/c blower on low so that the air "won't warm up so fast".

While traveling temperature indication light flashed. Afterward vehicle would not change gears. Please provide further information.

Engine warning light kept illuminating. Consumer stated engine slipped. Dealer determined that engine heads and transmission needed to be replaced.
