The contact owns a 2004 Dodge Ram srt10. The contact stated that the accelerator and clutch pedals were slipping while driving various speeds. The dealer replaced the clutch and the discs. On a separate occasion, she heard a rattling noise under the hood and felt as if something were loose. She also smelled burning transmission fluid and she lost the gearing of the vehicle. The vehicle was towed to the dealer and they stated that the transmission needed to be replaced. The failure mileage was 23,000 and current mileage is 36,000. Updated 3/11/09

While driving gas pedal may be down to the floor, but vehicle won't go anywhere. Took vehicle to dealer, and they found pieces of rubber o-ring, metal slitherings, clutch materials in transmission pan. Consumer took vehicle to dealer, and they said consumer needed a new transmission/front pump, consumers felt this car was 4 years old, and should not be having transmission problems.

Transmission fails to change gears at 35mph. Took vehicle to dealer to have transmission checked & replaced. Had noticed the front clutch was leaking fluid.
