The contact owns a 2005 Dodge Ram 2500. The contact stated that while driving he experienced difficulty steering. Upon further inspection he noticed that the steering link inner joint failed. He replaced the steering linkage and drag link inner joint with a factory up to date part, since the original part was no longer available. The manufacturer will not reimburse the contact since the replacement part was not manufactured by mopar. The failure mileage was 45,000 and the current mileage was 55, 000.
