4 Loud Engine Noise problem of the 2015 Ford Edge

Failure Date: 04/11/2018

We had had a problem for over a year. The ac makes loud noises and cuts out and stops working it will speed up slow down with no touching. The bluetooth doesn't work properly and the phone doesn't sink or drops calls. The check engine light comes on!!!!we first took to our local dealership kelly Ford im melbourne they couldn't get it to fail. Gave us the car back and were rude,my wife called customer care and made a complaint and nothing was done. We then sent videos of the issues. To the dealership we bought from which is 2 hours drive south of else delrare Ford. We drove there and showed the sales manager and service manager the car in the failed condition as we didnt shut car off and pulled into the service station after again sending text of videos on our drive down of the failing. They kept the car for over 5 days and again said they couldnt get it to fail when they restarted later. We were furious. We have again had to continue to drive this car paying almost $400. 00 a month and no one will fix. . . Or give us another car. Its a lease. We phoned customer care again they gave us a case number and said contact palm bay Ford and quote the case number if they didnt not fix the car or give a replacement until it was fixed we could end the lease early. The car has stalled while driving. The ac and fan vibrate so load and go from super fast to slow and then shuts off all while driving. We are scared to drive!!!!.

7 Loud Engine Noise problem of the 2008 Ford Edge

Failure Date: 10/02/2016

Driving at i275 to st petersburg, at 60mph the car made a loud noise from the engine and reduced gears abruptly, it felt like a hard braking from the engine, very hard. The rpm went skyrocket, the car lost power and wouldn't go over 45mph or it would do the same again. It looked like it was on a very low gear, as it was at 40mph doing almost 4000rpm. . . I stopped at a gas station, turned it of and let it sit for about 20 minutes. When I tried to go back rome, after 2 miles it did the same, it lost power. I drove back to the gas station and had it towed home.

8 Loud Engine Noise problem of the 2015 Ford Edge

Failure Date: 09/15/2016

I've had my 2015 Ford Edge for only 4 months and with only 4600 miles on my way home from work sept. 15th going down a two lane road my car lost power without warning I could not accelerate and the wrench and air bag warning lights came on. Thank god I was not on the freeway going 70 miles an hour I was able to coast to safety so I pulled to the side of the road. The vehicle was making a very loud noise. I called Ford road side assistance. When he came out he turned the vehicle off and on and the warning lights came off and the vehicle drove normal. I was able to get home. I decided to take it to the nearest Ford dealer the next morning however they could not help me till Wednesday or Thursday of the following week. I decided to go home and call the dealer where I purchased the vehicle and as I was driving up my driveway it happened again this time I decided to record with my phone the warning lights and the noise it was making. I called the dealer and they told me to bring it in to them right away however I was not about to drive it again knowing it was probably going to do it again. (very scary). Called Ford road side assistance again and it was towed there. I received a called later in the day saying that the throttle bodyneeded to be replaced. Got my car back that afternoon. However, 2 weeks earlier my vehicle was at the dealer because the engine light came on took it in and the catalyst converter was bad he to be replaced. Of course no part available had to wait. My vehicle was in there for 10 days. (they did provide a rental at no charge).
