While stopped at closed train tracks, my brake petal depressed about 2 inches further. After this I was having trouble breaking, I quickly pulled into a parking lot and had my car towed a nearby dealership. There is a recall out for the break line of my car, 25v544. The dealership called and confirmed that the ruptured break line is due the to outstanding recall that currently has no resolution. The dealership is trying to charge me for the repair of the break line, but promises a reimbursement once a solution is released for the recall. I believe that since the recall has had no resolution since September 2025, they have not fixed the issue in a reasonable amount of time and should not charge me for the break line repair.

On the morning of March 27, 2026 I had an unexpected rear driver side break line blowout with out warning or indication of a broken/damaged break line. Luckily the line blew while I was traveling slowly into my work yard. This could have been a life threating failure, I live 13 miles away from the nearest town, which I have to drive everyday to pick up my daughter from school. The road is not only a 2 way road with the speed limit to 55, but at times its extremely curvy and dangerous. Ford should be ashamed that a multi billion dollar company is not willing to fix this and are willing to put families live in jeopardy. I had to get the car towed from my house to big brand tire where the technician confirmed that the break line in fact did burst causing my breaks to fail. Big brand tire charged me $357. 91 and the tow charged me 30 due to how far I had to tow it.
I have replaced my front brakes at least 3 times, something is wrong with the brakes on these cars. Started off fine then after 50,000 miles I've changed them almost once a year. Never have had a Ford that I've had to replace brakes so much. Love the car just the little things are hard to handle. Take my car in again this year for front brakes again. Really??? I have just over 90,000 on the car and every 15,000 to do brakes again is unbelievable.

I received a safety recall notice in September 2025 regarding my vehicle's rear flexible brake hose possibly having a leak. At that time the notice stated parts were not available but the Ford company was working to provide parts for the repair and would notify me by mail to schedule an appointment to complete the repairs. I have called on several occasions, to several Ford dealerships, since September 2025 to follow up on this safety issue and schedule a repair only to be told there are still no parts available. A leaking rear flexible break hose causes a huge safety concern and should be addressed in a more timely manner by the car company. It is now six months with no resolve. This type of fix does not entail creative engineering, it simply involves replacing a common car part. I believe this delay in repair has become negligent and needs to be documented for when there is a poor outcome due to delayed braking.

See attached document for complaint. I received notice back in September of 2025 of the two recalls noted above. I have not received notice that the parts are available. I have called my dealer, huntington beach Ford and first they said they had the parts for recall 25v572. I took my car in and later in the day was told they do not have the parts. In the meantime, they tried to upsell me on service issues not related to the recall. I have been a loyal customer of both Ford motor company and huntington beach Ford. I must tell you that my loyalty is being tested. I think this is unacceptable and I would like to know when I can expect to get my car fixed.

My car skids when I try to stop the car(car breaking). This happening a couple of times during the past 2 or 3 days. My car mechanic just did a diagnostic and found out that the abs sensor module and electrohydraulic has system failure and needs replacement, but parts aren't available where I live (puerto rico). This is surely a matter of security I will appreciate if you can help us to find the parts need to fix this issue.

Received recall notice around August 2025. Called Ford and they said there was no fix for the current recall. February 2026 my daughter was driving home and lost all pressure in her brakes. She made it home safely and I added brake fluid and started the car and as I pumped the brakes fluid started pouring out from the rear hose. I called Ford and had it towed down to the dealership the next morning. They fixed it and confirmed it was the rear brake hose which was listed in the recall but it hadn’t been posted yet so I had to pay everything out of pocket to include tow, car rental and repairs.

Recall notice 25v544 was sent out Aug 2025, and it's the end of April 2026 and nothing has been announced. Called my local dealer and they said it is now looking like may for a remedy. My brakes failed from this recall in February and its undrivable. . . And Ford is not doing anything to address this.
I was driving the vehicle and the brakes failed. The Ford dealership said that the parts were unavailable for the repair. I took to my local repair shop. There was a brake system leak and it needed an emergency repair. Ford is refusing to reimburse the repair even though their website and dealer say the part is unavailable from them.
On February 14th while operating the vehicle I experienced a braking failure where the brake pedal went to the floor and braking distance was increased. I had the vehicle towed to Ford of columbus in columbus, in on the morning of Feb. 16th where it was confirmed that the rear brake hose had blown due to the associated recall. The failure is exactly due to the recall as acknowledged by both Ford motor company and the dealership. Ford corporate acknowledged (case number xxx) that the repair should not be my financial responsibility yet they continue to demand that I pay out of pocket now for an interim repair because the "official" fix is not ready. By refusing to authorize a no cost repair for a vehicle that has already failed due to their recall, Ford is denying a safety remedy and forcing me to bear the financial burden of a known defect. I do not believe it is my responsibility to pay now and then have to jump through hoops to seek a refund at a "later date" determined by Ford. This is a deceptive and bad faith practice by Ford. I have called Ford motor company twice and have utilized the chat once. I have not heard back from the dealership in nearly 24 hours since asking for an update on the status of the repair that I have since approved. Information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).
