Vehicle experiences rough idle on cold starts, lunges when in drive and hesitates on quick take off, dealer indicates that codes indicate that the transmission pump is failing. Vehicle has 35,000 miles and has been owned less than 60 months, yet the dealer indicates that a transmission pump is not covered under the manufacturer's drive warranty. A transmission is undoubtedly an essential part of the drive train, failure of this part at this level of mileage is not acceptable and the manufacturer's failure to cover this essential repair is unacceptable.
