Gasoline Fuel System Problems of Ford F-250 - part 2

Stalls out after hot run and wont restart until cools down and sometimes after cool down it wont start without using astarter fluid. Starts stalling around 60 mph. This is a 6. 0 diesel truck. Has stopped running running down the road after you let off gas pedal. Have notified Ford of this problem and found that there was a recall on this truck. Was told that there is not a recall by Ford when I called them.

The contact owns a 2008 Ford F-250. While parked, the contact attempted to refuel the vehicle but the vehicle would not accept the fuel. The fuel did not spill. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnostics. The technician stated the fuel vent fuel tube failed and had to be replaced. The part was unavailable for repair. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 40,000.

While driving home from work today during a rain storm in rush hour (I'm traveling at 10mph top), my engine suddenly lost power and sounded as if it had lost the muffler, except the sound was coming from the engine compartment. Because of the rain, it wasn't as loud as the last time it happened three years ago, but I knew what had happened thanks to my prior experience. I pulled over immediately and exited the highway. Once the rain stopped, I was sure what had happened. There is no reason for this occurring at all, but to have it happen twice! there is seriously something wrong with the design in Ford's engines (mine is a 5. 4 v8, F-250. ) I see all the reports of the same problem on the internet and it mentions the fact that there is the possibility of engine compartment fires. When it happened to me the first time, I was told by the dealership I should be able to drive it in for service, so I did. And I did so again today, taking the backroads. Only later this evening, while researching the problem, did I discover the danger. Please apply pressure to Ford to correct this problem before someone is seriously injured. And since this is a costly repair that I feel is caused by poor design, it should not be placed on the burden of Ford customers who pay thousands of dollars for their vehicles in the first place.

2003 f250 6. 0 gas mileage is only 10 to 11 miles to the gallon. There is something not right it should get 16 18 miles to the gallon. Dealer has no fix. The 2004's are getting 16 18 miles to the gallon what was changed in 2004 6. 0 ??.

Received recall 99v093000 over 8 weeks ago. Contacted dealer to set an appointment. Was informed no parts available. Would notified when parts were in. Contacted manufacturer, who in turn, said to contact dealer. Consumer has been getting the run around trying to get recall repair work done.

Received recall notice over 9 weeks ago. For fmvss 301 "fuel system integrity". Contacted dealer. Informed no parts available. Contacted manufacturer who said to contact dealer. Went back & forth, back & forth. Then received another notice, indicating work not done. Owner getting fraustrated & upset.

Consumrer received recall letter 93v311000. Contacted dealer no parts available to correct recall problem, consumer has a total of six vehicle that are included in this recall. Please give any further details.
