42 Wiper problem of the 2003 Ford F-250

Failure Date: 05/08/2018

The check engine light came on and we pulled over then when I put the truck into drive to pull out it barely moved. We were almost hit bc the truck wouldn't move so I put in in reverse to get out of the road and it did fine. So I tried to pull out again n drive and again it wouldn't go no matter how much gas I gave it. It sounds like something is drownding out or it isn't getting gas. But like I said. It won't go forward in drive or 1st or 2nd. Only in reverse will it move normally. This is major!!! I can't have my kids at risk bc there's something wrong with the truck. I have only had the truck about 3 weeks so it's very frustrating.

44 Wiper problem of the 2015 Ford F-250

Failure Date: 03/20/2017

My truck has had a windshield leak for some time . Approximately since about 38,000 miles. I took it to gabriel jordan Ford in livingston texas where I purchased the truck new and the service manager failed to record the fix into their system. And over time without my knowledge rain has ran down my the inside of the cab and ruined my sync system disabling it . The dealership refuses to acknowledge my complaint and so I am writing to you to express my disappointment in your product. Because of the water there is rust starting inside the cab on the passenger side kick panel and a moldy smell . I because of this issue I am considering not buying from Ford in the future because of poor workmanship.

45 Wiper problem of the 2016 Ford F-250

Failure Date: 03/19/2017

My children and I were driving about 55mph, on a sunny day in California, uphill, on a two-lane section of highway, with light traffic going in the same direction, a median to the left, another two-lane highway going in the opposite direction, and both roads are surrounded by undeveloped land. I was talking with my wife, who happened to be following us in her van, when we heard a loud "pop". I didn't notice anything out of place inside the truck or with its driving, and asked if she had noticed anything hit it from her vantage point. She said "no" and we continued on our way to our next stops. When I parked, I could hear a "cracking" noise above my head. I slowly opened the moonroof cover and discovered the entire moonroof had cracked. Though cracked, it was completely intact and I could not find any sign or debris indicating it had been hit by an object. I then took the truck to the dealership I bought it from, took more pictures as it developed a hole on the way, and left it for the service department to look at since they are closed on Sunday. As I was taking pictures of the hole, I noticed the edges were all inverted rather than facing down into the truck. It's as if pressure built up inside and blew the moonroof outward. The next day, the service department told me it was due to an "impact" and despite my explanation and pictures, refused to cover the repair under warranty. The truck only has 5,515 miles on it and is well within the scope of the manufacturers warranty. I did a bit of searching on the internet and found that Ford had a class-action lawsuit against them, pertaining to 16 different makes/models/years of their vehicles for shattering moonroofs. The case was krebsbach et al. V. Ford motor CO. , case number 2:16-cv-02200. The Ford reps I talked with deny having any problems with their moonroofs and said they will only cover repairs if there is a recall.

46 Wiper problem of the 2012 Ford F-250

Failure Date: 05/15/2016

Windshield wipers were locked on when the vehicle was on. Independent of weather. No way to turn off until electronic switches that control the wipers, blinkers, and high beams were replaced. Problem started on the highway in motion. Rt 89 n vermont. Continued untilled repaired. Part number was sw-6874.

47 Wiper problem of the 2016 Ford F-250

Failure Date: 03/24/2016

When using delay wipers or hard rain vision is impaired as the wiper returns to home position. A huge pool of water is pulled back across window impairing vision. Dealer replaced wipers, waxed window no help. We drove other vehicles on lot, they do the same thing. Dealer acid washed the window, which makes it even worse. I have a blurred vision like when you see heat off the road in the horizon. Vision is very unsafe when driving into sunlight or at night when head lights hit the window. Ford warranty does not want to fix. I have been dealing with this for a over a month now. The vehicle has about 2400 miles on it currently. I have worked in the auto mfg business since 1989 in quality control with some previous experience with wipers and windshields.

48 Wiper problem of the 2011 Ford F-250

Failure Date: 03/04/2016

"steering column control module" sccm (Ford p/n 3f944) plastic body broke, allowing the "multifunction switch" (Ford p/n 13k359) to separate from its electrical connector and become inoperable. The sccm plastic body is quite flimsy and the plastic is brittle - instead of just breaking, it shattered like glass. This failure occurred at night during a rainstorm 3-4-16. Had just exited onto an urban arterial from a freeway. Instantly the wipers, turn signals, and high beam became inoperable. Very dangerous driving home (1 mile from the event). Next day I was amazed at how extensively the plastic shattered, having no recall of treating it harshly - just using the device in the normal fashion.

54 Wiper problem of the 2001 Ford F-250

Failure Date: 09/02/2002

When I purchased the truck used, the driver's side window was slightly scratched and over the years the window has been scratched more over a larger area making it nearly impossible to see out of if the sun is on the left side of the truck. I know other models and years have had this problem and don't understand why my truck has not been included.
