Fuel Delivery Problems of Ford F-350

The contact owns a 2017 Ford F-350. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle lost motive power and stalled. The failure mostly occurred while driving up an incline. During the failure, the check engine, low fuel, and reduce engine power warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who replaced fuel filters and low-pressure fuel pump however, the failure recurred. The contact was informed that the entire fuel system needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 225,000.

Vehicle had two tanks. First tank would empty into the second tank. This caused a gasoline spilled onto the ground. Consumer was able to drive vehicle to the dealer, and mechanic determined that tank' needed to be replaced. Gas leak see recall 93v125.

Went to 2 dealers both said that this sensor has a normal problem of leaking fuel over the engine and a high failure rate I have a friend who has the same year make and model had the same sensor fail and leak fuel on the motor as well as leaking a good amount on the ground when the sensor fails from inspecting this sensor it is of poor quality and design for this purpose.
