Steering: I have had issues with my steering, we have had the rack and pinion replaced, steering pump and steering belt. My problem is still not fixed. The steering is really hard and then likes to break loose at any given moment. This has almost caused me to wreck several times. There is a recall on newer model Ford Flexs. I think they all need to be recalled before someone gets hurt or killed!.

The powersteering was intermittent tight at times for a week and then became very tight and almost couldn't steer nearly causing a crash. We took it to the dealer where they are replacing the rack and the powersteering shaft for over $1000 on a car that is barely 4 years old. This vehicle was not included in the may 29th recall for the same problem on other Ford SUV's.
