Tl the contact owns a 2013 Ford Fusion. The contact stated while driving 30 mph, there was an abnormal knocking sound coming from the vehicle. The vehicle stalled with the low coolant level and check engine warning lights illuminated. The contact stated that the coolant reservoir was two-thirds full. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The contact stated that the failure was like the failure referenced in NHTSA campaign number: 17v209000 (engine and engine cooling). The manufacturer was contacted however no further assistance was provided. The failure mileage was 114,710.

The contact owns a 2007 Ford Fusion. The contact stated that the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic to have the clutch replaced. While having the repairs completed, the technician fractured a torque mount that connected the engine to the transmission. All the parts were replaced on the vehicle. After the repairs, while driving in the snow and changing lanes, the front passenger side wheel started spinning. As a result, the contact discovered that the torque mount fractured again. The contact heard a knocking noise in the transmission. The vehicle was taken back to an independent mechanic who was unable to diagnose the vehicle. The torque mount was replaced again. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The failure mileage was approximately 106,000.
