Several weeks ago I was driving my car and I noticed I didnt have any heat and my coolant temp high light came on. So when I checked the coolant I didnt have any at all. None of my hoses were leaking from anywhere. I added coolant to it and didnt think nothing of it. Today on my way to work the same thing happened. My coolant temp high light came on and when I pulled over I didnt have any coolant whatsoever. The coolant has got to be going somewhere in the engine because there is no signs of it leaking from the radiator or any of its hoses.
Car continues to lose coolant and overheat. It has been in and out of the shop for 6 months with no luck on a solution. Two different shops have said the radiator and thermostat is fine. We thought we had it fixed this last time in the shop, the seal in the reservoir tank had an air bubble in it, but 6 days into having it home the coolant level light came in once again. I am at a lost and out of funds to continue to put it in the shop. The issue always happens when in motion, will get an overheating warning and temperature will go from normal to overheated within sexonds and car will go into limp mode.

My vehicle was involved ina accident 11/25/2019 whichi resulteed in a dder hitting the car. The cars body was repaired as well as the radiator and then March 2020. The car shut completed down. I was advised to check to see if this was recall because the car never worked after the deer hit it. The coolant contiued to back into the engine causing coolant intrusion into the cylinders. Each time we put more in it ran out or into the engine.

While driving on 95 north from us 100 to palm coast parkway I started to smell coolant in the car started to overheat. The engine shut off I put it in neutral and coast until he came to a stop. Upon opening the hood I saw a 2 to 3 inch hole in the side of the hose going from the radiator to the engine.
When driving the vehicle on an incline, or the engine is under loaad, the temperature gague goes up, but as soon as I come out of it, the temperature returns to normal. I have had it tested and it is not actually overheating. Have a new water pump, thermostat, sensor and radiator. Also, the car symbol on the instrument panel is on and all doors and trunk are closed. Had to take it to the dealer, they've determined it is electrical after the "diagnostic", but are still trouble shooting after a week to determine the exact cause.

I was driving down the street and the vehicle coasted to a stop in the street. Engine was running at idle. Gas pedal had no response. Didn't see any fault indicators. Shifted to neutral. Pushed gas pedal several times with no response. After about 30 seconds gas pedal started working. Shifted to drive and drove to side of road. Drove vehicle to dealer. They pulled fault code p1285. Dealer replaced radiator fan and head temperature sensor. Working okay so far. (3 days).
The contact owns a 2013 Ford Fusion. While driving, the vehicle stalled. The contact parked the vehicle and noticed anti-freeze and oil had leaked onto the ground. The contact's daughter informed her of NHTSA campaign number: 17v209000 (engine and engine cooling). The vehicle was towed to north gate Ford (8940 colerain Ave, cincinnati, OH 45251) and then towed to woody sander Ford (235 w mitchell Ave, cincinnati, OH 45232, (513) 541-5586) where it was diagnosed that the engine needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure recurred. While driving, the contact heard the radiator boiling and a popping sound. The contact stated that the radiator overheated and the vehicle stalled. As a result, the power steering became difficult to maneuver. The contact was informed that the steering was designed to shut down to prevent engine failure. The coolant system and engine warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was then taken back to woody sander Ford where the dealer stated that no recalls were associated with the VIN. The manufacturer was not notified of the failures. The approximate failure mileage was 140,000.
The vehicle starting having a rough idle and stalling out at a red lights. I immediately had it checked, and the technician cleaned the throttle body which seemed to help for a few days. Then, with no warning I saw smoke/steam pouring out from under the hood so I immediately called for help and asked what to do. I was advised by the technician to immediately pull over and shut the car. I had the car towed to lilliston Ford in vineland, NJ. I was told I needed a new motor. When asked why, I was consistently told that they were not sure without taking the motor apart but that they found all of the coolant in the engine pan, mixed with the motor oil. It seems to be that the most likely scenario is that the head gasket went bad and coolant leaked into the motor causing two things to happen - it mixed with the engine oil (which is obviously bad), and since now all of the coolant was out of the radiator the car overheated and warped the engine block. This vehicle is only 6 years old and was religiously maintained and should not be having major issues as such. Case number: cas-9188661.
