Vehicle Shudder Problems of Ford Mustang

2018 Mustang gt 6 speed performance pack, tires rubbing on inner wheel wells causing wires to show on inside of tire, few months ago took car it to dealership said nothing was wrong but there is holes rubbed into my wheel wells, also had a clutch issue and noise at same time and they said nothing was wrong again, took car back and a week ago had a clutch and trans problem come about, have to forcefully push shifter into a gear for it to go in, with the clutch fully pressed I can put the car in gear and it will attempt to take off, without releasing the clutch, I cannot get the car into 6th 5th, 2nd and reverse. 1st,3rd,4th gears are hard to get in but will go forcefully. With car off I cannot go in many of the gears either. When this last part happend I was driving and went to go into 3rd and it wouldn't go in so I decided to try 4th and it had the same problem as before, car seem to shake while driving also.

I bought my Ford Mustang on June 2018. When the miles hit 30,000, the engine shakes every time my vehicle starts, and my whole car shakes noticeably when idling. The exhaust gas flow from the car has obvious intermittent, meanwhile, the exhaust pipe shakes a lot, and you can clearly hear the "burst" sound or thump. In addition, my whole car has obvious jitters at low speeds of more than 2,000, and the acceleration is weak. When the speed is high you can feel a little less jittery. It is not jittery under normal operating conditions of the engine. When my auto is on d or r, it doesn't move after I release the brake. Plus, the variable box occasionally makes a strange noise and vehicle coolant does not working properly. What scares me the most is that one time I was driving on l-595 high way, my vehicle shut down automatically, I tried to restart it but failed, I was panic, I had to wait for more than 10 minutes on the high speed road to try to restart the car again. Luckily I pulled my car in the emergency lane, I can't image if it wasn�t. After all those, I went to my dealer at plantation FL, they can fix for me since my car is still under coverage but I don't want get it repaired. I deeply doubt whether the repair would completely fix those issues. Please help and advice if I can get my car recalled? I was looking for a car that I always wanted but not hanging by a thread.

The getrag mt-82 manual transmission in my Mustang has had a history of shifts that take extra effort, clunky shift engagement, and a high pitched whining noise from the drivetrain under throttle application, since I bought the vehicle used 5 years ago. I have had it looked at at a Ford dealer, but they say noting is wrong. The whine is present every time I drive, the other issues are intermittent. In the most odd incident that I had in the vehicle, I was in 2nd gear under throttle and the car began to shake wildly back and forth, with a loud clunking noise coming from the transmission. I'm not sure exactly on the date, a few years ago for sure. I have tried to replicate the effect, and it has happened a few other times in a less dramatic manner, but never quite like that. I am concerned that the transmission will not last the life of the vehicle, and feel it is not very safe. I know that I am not the only person who has had problems with this transmission. T he vehicle has been balance the wheels at least 4 times in the last 2 months also replaced both front rotors the vehicle have a vibration on the steering wheel around 50 to 60 miles an hour also have a pinging metal sound when you shift . . Also a wobble in between 5 to 10 miles an hour a right rear tire was replaced no change the vehicle have only 2200 miles one Ford mechanic feels after confirm my concerns that could be drive line related . Despite my concerns Ford is contacting an engineer to look at the car dont know when even after a mechanic found this . What to me could become a safety issue . Contacted Ford corp still waiting when anyone will fix my car . I am angry of the lack of caring from Ford dealers . There many Ford Mustang owners with this problem .

As I am turning on my vehichle to go to work like normal my automatic shifter became so hard to move into gear that I had to use two hands. When I was able to select the correct gear my car kept on shaking and making a huge "clunk" noise that you can feel it by sitting in the car. The "clunk" noise became more prominent when selecting reverse from the park position. If one selects drive to reverse the noise and feel is still there just not as prominent.

Every other time I start from a stop the clutch shaking the hole car and in revers at 1mile an hour doing the same thing I just bought this car like a month ago not to happy with it. Its very dangerous. The electronic throttle body is defective. The car loses power and nothing happens when I step on the gas, but the engine does not turn off. I have pulled over and the car shakes pretty violently. Once I turn it off and back on everything seems fine for a while but eventually does it again. Got the code p2111.

The contact owns a 2012 Ford Mustang. The contact stated that while driving 50 mph and attempting to shift gears, the vehicle grinded while shifting. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnosis but they were unable to duplicate the problem. The vehicle was not repaired and the manufacturer was notified, but the problem persisted. The approximate failure mileage was 7,000.

2011 shelby gt500 - brought this car in for grinding into 2nd gear (all other gears seem fine. . At the moment). Was told that all Ford would do is replace 2nd gear, which they did and was also told that it was our driving and replacing 2nd gear is all that they would do. We were told by the regional rep and engineer that. . . Quoted - "we have to have the clutch all the way down to the floor before shifting (engaged). The reason it will grind between 1st and 2nd and not into the other gears is because vehicle has bigger jump in rpm from 1st to 2nd. Vehicle is shifting correctly as designed. ". Totally disagree. . . Very upsetting since it is their flagship car and am told this is all they will do.

After I first purchased the vehicle I noticed a vibration in the shifter which eminated from the transmission. I took it back to the Ford dealership aprroximately a month or more later and was informed there was no issue with the transmission. However, to this day there exists a very noticable vibration with increasing episodes of difficulty changing gears between # 5 to 2, either shifting up or down. It is more noticable when down shifting. On more than one occasion I had to shift into another gear above what I was attempting to go for because the gear would not connect into proper placement. This caused a brief back up when going onto the freeway with several cars behind me due to the transmission being stuck in a particular gear setting (#3). This cleared once I changed to a lower gear ratio.

My gt was shifting perfect for 2000 mile. One day I went to afm and everyone saids my transmission is pos and will fail. What do you know. Just 2 days later I almost run over my neighbor john m because I was not able to get into gear. I have 2 other frens with 2011 gts, cbatty and 06gtfan. They have to cry themself to bed at night because their car grinds and whines. Ford is not doing anything to help them. Sigh. . . . . . .

The car makes a grinding and knocking noise when I accelerate gently and coast at low speeds up to 15 mph in 1st gear. It doesn't make the knocking noise when I accelerate hard nor does it make this sound when im cruising above 15 mph and give it gas. I am concerned that the transmission may go out and cause an accident.

I am intermittently unable to shift into 1st 2nd and now 3rd gear. Several people have almost rear ended me when I could not get the car into 1st gear after stopping at a red light. This issue is potentially a serious safety issue if someone were to be in a situation where they needed to move their car quickly and could not get the car in gear to move. The car also has a vibration when running between 2500-3000 rpm. I am very concerned for my safety driving this car. I have not taken this car to the dealer due to their own ambition that this is normal and there is no fix.

I purchased a 2007 Mustang pony v-6 and it has all kinds of problems. The transmission was replaced at 1100 miles and still does not shift correctly and is noisy. I have also twice experienced an odd acceleration with this car. This car vibrates from the rearview mirrors, the dash, and steering wheel. I feel it is an accident waiting to happen. I have 1500 miles on this car and am hoping Ford will buy it back--because no dealership will take in trade.

Was pulled over by police when accelerator stuck, he thought I was lying so I contacted d. A. And ticket reduced to bad muffler. . . . Right! took auto to dealership and were unable to duplicate problem. Car also shakes badly at speeds above 45mph, all the time. Private garage stated problem not with suspension.

When driving there is a vibration when the car shifts into a higher gear. It does not shift smoothly from first to second gear, there is a grinding vibration. The dealer's technician said " they all do it, they don't make them like they use to".
