While driving vehicle will stall out without any warning. Contacted dealer. This was a result of fuel pump failing. Had pump replaced 3 times,but problem reoccurred.
When consumer tried to start vehicle it would not start. No prior notice. Towed to dealer who found fuel pump had to be replaced.
While driving about 55 mph vehicle suddenly stalled without a prior warning, and had to be towed to service shop where they find out that a fuse was blown in fuel pump.

Vehicle would hesitate & wouldn't stay running. Wires for fuel pump had rubbed against flex hose, causing it to expose the wires & short out. Dealer cold do nothing because no recall. Also the cv joints failed and the transmission pan cracked. The brakes vibrated causing the steering to vibrate terrebly. The vehicle, the consumer says, must be defective.
Faulty fuel pumps; vehicle had two fuel pumps replaced by the dealer, and problem still reoccurring. Consumer waiting on tow truck while making this report to NHTSA via moble phone. Please provide any further details.
While making a stop at a light and when depressing gas pedal vehicle idled high and stalled without any indication. Dealer stated that fuel pump needed to be replaced. Manufacturer had no replacement.

Car stalled during accelleration and would not restart. Towed to nearest Ford dealer. Day after was informed that the gas guage failed and is stuck at half a gallon but car did not have any gas. Also was told that fuel pump failed. No warning indications whatsoever prior to car stalling in rush hour traffic and is considered a safety hazard.

Vehicle initially lost power on incline and regained on decline, until total loss of power after 2-5 mph. Occurred on four occasions, on highway trips. Dealer initially reprogrammed computer then replaced fuel pump relay. After fourth occasion, replaced fuel pump. Also, transmission is sluggish, difficulty gaining speed on initial acceleration. Then suddenly surges/hesistates and moves erratically into gear. Vehicle hesitates and acts as if it stalls out.
Engine stalled in traffic, nearly caused crash, owner told by dealer, to never allow fuel to get below fourth tank, fuel pump naturelizer stopped operating. Dealer is replacing naturelizer .
Consumer has a fleet of these vehicles. Out of the fleet 15 vehicle fuel pumps malfunctioned, which caused vehicles to unexpectedly cut off. Consumer has contacted dealer, dealer has replaced 9 out of the 15 faulty fuel pumps. Parts currently on back order. Vehicle used by government workers.
While driving on the highway vehicle shut down without warning. Engine was getting no gas flow, this was due to a bad fuel pump. Dealer has been contacted.
When driving, the engine lost power and the steering wheel was hard to turn. The consumer took the vehicle to the dealer. The dealer stated someone mistakenly put oil into the power steering fluid.
