Vehicle jumped forward when stopping. Accelerated by itself, resulting in a crash. Brakes when applied, squeak loudly. Gears were very hard to change. Dealer contacted and is aware of the problem. Problems still exists. Provide further information.
Brakes experience extended stopping distance.
Whenever steering wheel is turned, vehicle would stall out. The stalling would also occur when brakes are applied in a panic stop. Took to dealer, twice, & informed could not find cause of stalling. However, on January 26, 1998, problem was resolved by dealer.

When applying the brakes the pedal goes to the floor and stays down. Driver has to apply emergency brake in order to stop. Dlr couldnt duplicate the problem. Mjs.
Consumer states brake (service) warning light started coming on when pulling away from a stop. Also the antilock brake warning light is on. Dealer found low brake fluid, the front brake linings, rotors, rear lings, and both rear wheel cylinders needed to be replaced. However consumers inspection found that dealership had never added brake fluid. Consumer is requesting reimbursement for unnecessary repairs and would like to see brake fluid sensors recalled.
Brakes continue to squeek when driving. They can lubricate them which only lasts six months. Then they start squeeking again. The only time it is quiet is when you have the brakes applied. This seems to be a manufacturers defect.
While driving and applying on brakes the pedal continues to merge to the floor, resulting in extended stopping distance. Mechanic does not know why brakes are malfunctioning.
While vehicle was in a standing position with foot on brakes it launched several times. On one of the occasions vehicle had caused a minor collision, resulting in damage to bumper.

When applying the abs brakes the pedal nearly travels to the floor, causing extended stopping distance. Dealer cannot identify any problem. Consumer states that there is a grinding noise from the front brakes. Consumer also states that the steering wheel is very difficult to use.

While driving and upon attempting to depress brake pedal driver is eventually depressing accelerator pedal, causing unwanted acceleration. Consumer noted distance between accelerator pedal and brake pedal is not sufficient. Consumer has contacted dealer.
The brake pedak goes to the floor and is very mushy. The dealer has had the vehicle 4 times and claims the problem is fixed. But the problem remains, now the dealer claims that the brake pedal condition is normal for the vehicle and does not pose a problem, as a police officer and an accidend investigator I am convinced that at anything close to maximum loading those brakes will fail.
Brakes has little resistance and are depressed to the floor when applied. This is an on-going problem that the dealer cannot seem to resolve.

When applying the brakes vehicle experienced brake loss, and eventually the brake pedal fell off.
While driving 5 mph, brakes completely shutdown. Pedal completely went to the floor with no force. Still not stopping the vehicle. . The failure of the brake system was attributed to the failing of the hydraulic control unit.
