The molding cover for the hood fell off by hwy speed, and recently we I went to oil change after I get the car the technician said the bolt for tie the oil thing is not correct and it’s not for this car and this was the reason for leaking and need to replace with right one.

The grill deflector flew off while driving on the highway. I was driving roughly 55 mph. It is available now, but will be getting repaired in the near future. My concern is that it appears that this was an issue with the 2022 models and it’s still an issue on the 2023. The safety issue is if there was a vehicle or motorcycle behind me that it could have harmed whoever could have been driving behind me, caused and accident, or damaged their vehicle or mine in the process. The service advisor (j. R. ) told me that “sometimes the wind gets underneath the bezel and makes it snap”. No it has not been inspected by any of this mentioned. No warning signs prior to the incident.

Upper front grill trim piece was repaired under recall. After being fixed I was driving and it broke off flying up in the air and behind the truck. It did not hit another vehicle. Adaptive cruise control stopped working. Lane assist stopped working. Brake pad wear sensor error message stating it doesn't work. Vehicle has 19,000 miles.

Subject: event of engine failure • while driving on a level paved road at 15 miles per hour in a busy area my 2019 GMC sierra denali pickup truck stalled in the middle of a busy street. • truck stalled in a heavy traffic area at an intersection putting myself and passengers in a dangerous area and situation. This obstructed the normal flow of traffic causing a danger to pedestrians and normal vehicle traffic pattern. Each had to go around my disabled truck into oncoming traffic putting them and normal traffic flow at risk. •upon securing a towing service the truck was transported to the nearest gm dealership. This happened on a Friday afternoon and the truck got to the dealership after hours. I returned to the dealership the next morning and was told that they may not be able to check the truck until probably Tuesday. On Monday afternoon I called and they hadn't been able to get to it. I received a call the next day and was informed that the technician at the dealership had put a breaker bar to the crankcase and the engine would not move and therefore the engine is seized. • there were no warning lights that came on prior to the truck stalling in the street. There was no noise prior or any other symptom to give any indication that the truck was not operating in a normal fashion.

Top grill/hood trim piece - it is separate from the main grill. It detached and flew off at interstate speed. Thank god it missed several cars behind me. The passenger side corner came loose and before I could safely make my way off the interstate the piece ripped all the way across and flew over the top of the truck. May have gone 30 feet in the air prior to landing on the asphalt between the two lanes.

TSB 19-na-121. My truck is experiencing the exact issues detailed in the listed TSB. Randomly and quite often my truck feels like I am running over speed bumps. This just started about 3 days ago. The truck has been maintained. Oil is changed on time and there was a 100,000 mile service and I just had a 150,000 service done. Currently there are roughly $148,000 miles on the vehicle. Is there a way to have gm cover the costs of the repairs even though my VIN# was not listed. Also I am experiencing sudden power loss which is also mentioned in other bulletins. Basically it feels like the engine hesitates to accelerate.

The upper part of the grill was rattling while I was on a 270 mile road trip. I stopped, inspected it, and found multiple mounting points cracked. I did not feel it was safe to continue driving with it being so loose so I installed four zip ties to continue my trip back home. Safety recall n242490120 had already been completed which means this is the second time the plastic clips on the grill have failed.

The upper hood trim that sits above the grill, flew off on the interstate at approx 80 mph. Upon research this is a common problem for this make and model in years of 22-24. Gm has a service bulletin for this issue as well as the NHTSA. For this particular failure. There was no warning and when I contacted gm they were unwilling to assist as "service bulletins" are not recalls and the vehicle is out of warranty. There was no warning, no indicator, it just blew off and I had no idea until I got home and the piece was missing. I was unable to locate the part on the interstate, however I was able to keep all of the pieces attached to the vehicle for evidence and support. I am beside myself anyone thought this was acceptable to sustain the force of air flow!.

Truck shut off and would not turn back on. Negative battery cable so hot it burned skin off. Would not start, tried to start clicking sound, radio blipped for a moment.

I bought the truck with 2 miles , shut off on me within 1,300 miles wouldn’t turn on , supposedly it was a bad fuse that was burned out , second time it shut off on me again , all my sensors were going off and on and truck wouldn’t turn back on , they told me they couldn’t figure out the problem evaczue they had disconnected the battery and it erased all the codes 3rd time , they changed my oil and they forgot to torque the screw back correctly and all the oil spilled and cost my engine to lock up and mess up , they replaced the motor with a new one 4th time , supposedly it needs a replacement for a catalytic converter which is being replaced now as we speak or sometime this week.

There is a water leak in the rear passenger compartment of my vehicle. Unsure where water is coming from. Continued leaking poses a risk to my safety as I may be exposed to black mold as well as anyone else who is riding in my vehicle. The problem hasn’t been addressed by the dealer yet but this is a known issue. At this point I have spoken with a representative from the service department at the dealership but cannot get an appointment for several weeks. I was also advised that the problem would need to be diagnosed before being addressed at my cost due to being outside of the warranty period. There were no warning lights or any other signs that this is occurring and was only discovered because I was putting something in the back seat on 6/26/26.

This vehicles top portion of grill trim is starting to come loose, as this is a safety concern while on the highway, I had another vehicle that the trim flew off completely, (same year and model) while I was on the highway. This could hit another vehicle if this happens, or god forbid a person who happens to be on a sidewalk. I looked into this and found that there is a recall for the same issue on 2022 models that has not been extended to the 2024 model (recall n242490120). This recall should be extended to the 2024 models as this is a huge safety concern.

The problem is in the power-locking manual tailgate’s exterior release switch assembly. Water intrusion into the switch can cause a short circuit, leading the tailgate to unlatch while the truck is in park. Once moving, momentum and air pressure can cause the tailgate to open further, potentially dumping cargo onto the road and creating a hazard.

I noticed a "ticking" noise a few years ago, it wasn't that bad and while taking my truck to the dealer for an oil change I ask about it and the representative told me that in this models that was normal. Since it wasn't that bad and the truck didn't show any problems at that time, I just decide to let it be. This weekend I took my family out of state for a fun trip, and while going in the highway around 55-65 miles per hour, the truck suddenly lose power, it felt like it the truck "sits" the cars behind me had to Dodge me and I lost control of the truck and had to steer to the right getting out of the highway and almost go into a ditch, thankfully nothing scaleted to a big and disastrous accident. The engine light started to flash. And suddenly stopped, I turn off the truck checked back for my family and after a few minutes, I started the truck again, the truck started right away and but I noticed the "ticking" got a little louder, talking to my neighbor about this he told me he had the same issue and hes motor went bad and they said it was a bad afm system causing this, I started searching on line for it and see there been the same issues with the afm with other drivers, and seen that the have the same issues im confident that it is an afm problem. Truck is been running and is my daily work car and I notice is loosing power, I contacted the dealer but haven't had any answer yet. I cant take it to a mechanic shop because they would charge me in between 2,500 to 5k to fixed, money that I dont have, while in the call with one shop he told me about this place to put a claim and notify about how dangerous this can be if in a highway.

Vehicle will not consistently shut off. Shift to park error received upon trying to shut vehicle off. Concerns on if the vehicle is actually in park and if it is safe to exit vehicle. Concern that vehicle is not in park and electrical units aren’t being properly shut down (I. E. Radio).

Either while stopping while driving or parking (forward or reverse) the engine rpms go up thus wanting to move the vehicle in that direction causing the breaks needing to be applied harder. When you shift into neutral the rpms go way up (3000). This has happened on this vehicle 3-4 times of which I have video of the latest occurrence. When put into r or d the rpms are still over 1000. This also happened on the courtesy vehicle same make and model) I was given but on this one the rpms went up to 5000 of which I also have a video. The dealership has not been able to duplicate the issue as of yet. My fear is that the vehicle will hit someone or something if the break isn't pressed to the floor. It happens very randomly. The dealer currently has my vehicle trying to figure it out. They say gm says there's nothing they can do. No warning lights or messages appeared.

When I put the vehicle in park, the dash warning says it is not in park or shift to park. The components continue to work. I have taken it to the dealership and according to the service manger, this is a very common occurrence in these trucks. This seems to me that it would be a very serious safety issue if one assumes their vehicle is in park and it is actually not. The shift to park warning is a safety warning to alert the driver it is not in park so the vehicle doesn’t roll off and hit someone (especially a child playing in the driveway). Assuming that alert is just a malfunction could get someone killed. I did notice that this was considered a safety recall for some models of GMC vehicles but not others. I’m not sure why there hasn’t been a recall on these trucks when the service manager specifically said they are having this issue on a lot of trucks.

The screen shakes. Goes black. Zooms in randomly without prompting. Started dialing up people from recent calls. While trying to get the navigation working. I started drifting into oncoming traffic. Fortunately was able to course correct and avoid collision. Buttons are most time not responsive to touch. It is distracting. The system has never fully worked as promised and is a distraction. And as a result a serious safety hazard.

The onstar module in the truck is broke it affects all communications. The truck has including things like let me know what the speed limit is. It happened after they did a software update, which seems a little fishy because there was nothing wrong with it before I understand. Some people were having problems with this module, causing their batteries to die, but now I’m the one having issues and they won’t seem to fix it unless I pay them $900.

For no apparent reason the truck goes into “low power mode” and gives off code p2138 often happens around 30-35 mph. Have had it happen to me also around 45 mph also. I have replaced sensors and parts to which a month or so goes by and it happens again.

They should be responsible for repairs or replacement of the cheap made frames that rust away so fast so u ain’t gotta worry about your truck fallling apart going down the rd and the lower control arms made of cast that rust from inside out and you don’t know until breaks while driving along with camber adjustments where they can throw alignment out with a single bump. Mostly the frame replacement is major always having to plate frame or check to make sure it will be able travel long trips or haul stuff in bed or a trailer with breaking or falling off truck causing wreck frame repair is major and time consuming if you don’t have proper stuff and definitely expensive and lower control arms that’ll make a wheel come real fast and it’s time consuming and expensive too but very dangerous and breaks and causes damage right then and there at high or low speed on highways or interstates.

Upper grille detachment while driving on the interstate at 70 mph at night ,hit the windshield. Could not find it.

Electronic tailgate failed when driving uphill. Tailgate fell open.

Telematics (onstar) module dealership has checked it, the telmatic module is bad. And the dealership I went to dossit big 4 in tupelo ms told me this has been a problem with this truck. And are wanting me to pay $645 to fix it. After they just did some recalls and updated the software. This was working before then.

Coolant control valve failing. Warranty not covering this part. Seems to be a manufactured issue. Happening on a lot of 2021 gmnc sierras with the 3. 0l duramax.

Safety complaint – delayed acceleration from automatic engine stop/start I am reporting a safety concern regarding the automatic engine stop/start system in my GMC truck. During normal operation, the system shuts the engine off when the vehicle comes to a complete stop. When I release the brake and press the accelerator, there is a noticeable delay while the engine restarts before power is delivered to the wheels. This creates a hesitation between driver input and vehicle response. This delay presents a safety concern because it affects my ability to react quickly in situations that require immediate acceleration. I have experienced multiple real-world scenarios where this hesitation impacts safe operation: while stopped at an intersection preparing to turn, I observed oncoming traffic approaching faster than expected. When I attempted to accelerate to complete the turn, the delay caused by the engine restart reduced my ability to clear the intersection promptly. In stop-and-go traffic, I needed to move forward quickly to maintain safe spacing or respond to changing traffic conditions. The hesitation before acceleration limited my ability to react immediately. When pulling into traffic from a parking lot or side street, heavy traffic often creates small gaps that require prompt acceleration. Due to the delay in engine restart, it is difficult to accurately gauge and anticipate the truck’s response when pressing the accelerator. With this hesitation, safely merging into traffic in these conditions becomes extremely difficult and, at times, effectively impossible. In situations where a vehicle encroaches into my lane or a hazard develops unexpectedly, the delayed throttle response reduces my ability to maneuver out of the way quickly. This is not simply a convenience issue. The system introduces a delay between driver input and vehicle response, which can reduce reaction time in situations where immediate acceleration is necessary to avoid a potential hazard.

Engine coolant control valve.

I took my truck in for routine maintenance. When I got it back and turn the truck on, the instrument cluster was completely black. I couldn't get it to turn on. I went back into the dealer and informed them of the issue. The claimed they had not done anything electrical the dealer has told me that they are not sure why it has stopped working but they did let me know they had to replace several instrument clusters with other customers. I am unsure if they had paid for the replacement or not. I've looked online as well and seen multiple GMC truck owners having the same issue and getting their instrument clusters replaced as well. I've noticed this is happening with 2022 models and above. Please look into. Thank you.

Onstar module failed. Unable to fix and needs replaced. Thousands of other individuals having same issue. Car can shutdown without warning while driving. This issue must be addressed by gm.

Vehicle fire. Total loss. While driving, vehicle began to smoke from under the hood. Fire grew rapidly and vehicle is totaled. No warning signs leading up to the incident.

I was driving down I-25 interstate and the sunroof exploded outward on the vehicle and sounded like I shot gun going off in the vehicle. I did experience a hard breaking situation due to the loud noise, no traffic accident from this situation. Called GMC service and warranty department and glass is only covered for 1 year.

“service driver assist system” message appears every time I turn on my truck. Vehicle would randomly break when driving at slow speeds and show the forward collision alert even if no objects/ car are approaching or being approached. I am concerned about my safety because those sudden hard-breaks could cause an accident.

While driving at high way speeds the radio volume went to maximum high. I was unable to turn the volume down by any inputs. Mute was inoperative. Volume controls were overridden by the glitch. My hearing has been affected as well as the infant that was in the back seat. This is a serious condition that has now happened 4 times. No assistance from general motors. My ears have been ringing for 3 straight days now. This issue had happened since I bought the truck new in 2022.

Transmission blew on a 7 year old vehicle. Was replaced entirely and is now having the exact same problem again!.
