3 Abs Brake Fail problem of the 2002 GMC Sierra 2500

Failure Date: 06/15/2007

Abs brake sensor failure. At low speeds the abs work even when wheels are not locked up. The first time I experienced this was pulling a 7000lb trailer. I had to divert the truck and trailer onto the shoulder to avoid plowing into traffic in front of me. This appears to be a very expensive repair to make, replacing the front wheel hub assemblies. Currently we have had to disconnect one of the abs sensors to keep the abs from activating.
