Failure Date: 02/15/2004

Loud pinging noise from exhaust which continues 5-10 minutes after car is turned off, also has vibration in steering wheel and dash when at a sit still in either drive or park, rpm are not changing when vibrating, exhaust is extremely loud.

3 Catalytic Convertor problem of the 2001 GMC Yukon

Failure Date: 06/24/2002

Vehicle had been sitting for about 2 hours and consumer drove vehicle less than a block and temperature gauge was showing hot. Consumer pulled over, and black smoke was coming from hood. Catalytic converter was red hot. Took vehicle to dealer, and dealer stated that fuel was dumping in catalytic converter. Please provide any further information.
