1 Crankcase (pcv) problem of the 2014 GMC Yukon

Failure Date: 01/25/2021

Fouled spark and excessive deposit formation in the piston ring grooves along with excessive engine oil consumption. This is not an issue of normal wear and tear on the vehicle, but is rather a known issue due to design defects with the pcv system, which has not been adequately addressed by the manufacturer. TSB 10-06-01-008m addresses this exact condition. GMC has advised on the appropriate corrective actions to address the issues, but still requires customers to bear the costs of correcting the defect. Vehicle has approximately 83,000 miles on it.
