Takata recall. Took my Honda to get recall done. Got call back that said the recall was done but the airbag light was permanently on due to the recall replacement. They said it was because new part they made did not sync with my seats because they are after market seats?! my Honda was bought brand new by my grandfather at breakaway Honda in greenville south carolina, and the seats in it are the same ones that came with it when drove off the lot! I now live in north a carolina and crown Honda of durham nc is refusing to due anything about it saying it's not their problem, and that I need to take it up with the SC Honda location. Take my car to get a recall done and got a car back with airbags that no longer work?! doesn't make sense it me. I now have a car less safe than before.

Takata recall my 2007 Honda Accord airbag light has been on for the past 3 weeks, it stays, on the whole time I'm driving. Someone was fatally injured by the shrapnel a couple weeks ago when the airbag deployed, this make me extremely nervous. I'm not sure what my next step should be. This is the only vehicle that I have. I paid this car off last year. I cannot afford another car payment or a rental car at this time. If someone could get back to me and with information and or suggestions as to what I should do. I did submit a claim for the takata class action lawsuit but I'm not sure how long I will have to wait before I will know the outcome. I would appreciate it if someone would contact me as soon as possible regarding this urgent matter. I can provide photos if needed.

Takata recall-my driver & passenger side airbags were replaced due to recall. As I was driving about 1-2 weeks ago, my airbag light came on for no reason. I had nobody in the car with me and the dash stated my passenger airbag was off. I assume it stays off unless I have a passenger weighing x amount of lbs. Concerned.
My airbag light s come on from time to time and I am aware that some vehicles are under recall . Although my vehicle is not listed I am concerned about the airbag lights coming on when they should not. Also I met someone who said there was a recall on the power steering high pressure hose and I would like to know if this is true also because mine is leaking and I would like to know what steps to take next.
Takata recall. I took my 2005 Honda Accord to Honda world in westminster, California and was told there's no recall for my airbags even though I have received notices in the mail and the airbag light turns off and on. The vehicle is in motion on city streets or highway, whether go straight or turning, the airbag light turns off and on. This dealer has refused to check the airbags unless I pay and says there's no recall for the airbags though I've received notices.

I have a broken airbag sensor wire under my front passenger seat. The wire broke on it's own from simply moving the seat for my daughter to get in the back seat. Honda wants over $400 to replace this and claims the wire looks to have been cut. However I am the only owner of this vehicle & never cut this wire. I took the car tp another auto shop who gave me their opinion the wire simply broke thru normal use. I believe Honda needs to repair this at no cost as it's a safety concern & now the airbag light stays lit up at all times & I don't know if the airbags will work in an accident. I contacted Honda again today about this & even with the opinion of an auto shop they are saying they can't help since the vehicle isn't under warranty.

The srs unit has failed which is an acknowledged problem in some 2008-2010 Honda Accords but my particular model is not eligible for the recall. Considering the failure and the acknowledgment from Honda on this exact issue, my car should be eligible for the recall free of charge. I came to know about this problem because of the airbag indicator light being on.

I went to john eagle Honda on Saturday, January 20th. I was told they reset the sensor. It has come on at least 4 times since then . It came on twice today. I was attempting to bring it to john eagle Honda at 6pm today 1/25/2018, but jessie said there were no technicians to look at it. I'm returning the car back to john eagle Honda on Friday, January 26th.
Yesterday my airbag light came on. I checked the recall list for my vehicle and there is no recalls for my car on.

I have 2005 Honda Accord which is not included in the takata recall but I have a airbag light that goes off and on. As a result, my passenger side seat belt locked up when I took it to the dealer they said that the engine read a code that said it was involved in rear collision and it was not. They also stated that the seat belt could have locked up because the airbag light is on. Someone was sitting in the seat and had to maneuver to get out of it. The dealership has told me it will cost $800 and up to repair the seat belt (and it was not covered under the lifetime warranty for seat belts)but when I took the car to Honda the airbag light was not on at that moment so they told me it was nothing they can do unless it was on. I believe that this is a problem because the dealership also told me that if I have a faulty airbag that my seat belt may continue to lock up. I am hesitant to fix the seat belt because of the airbag situation.
