All warning lights have been coming on for the last 3 years first time I was almost run over by 18 wheeler all warning lights came on the car lost power and I could not turn on hazard lights had to wave hands out window to alert traffic that my car was malfunctioning second time I was in on going traffic and all lights came on and car lost power had to use emergency brake to keep from getting hit from behind by ups truck I have attempted to take car back to dealership on several occasions and was told that my car was not on the recall for the bcm software malfunction and the fuel pump and that I would have to pay a 250 diagnostic fee I have only been successful at getting the back up camera recall replaced all other recall I was told that my VIN number was not included. I have had the spark plugs replaced coils replaced wind shield replaced heat cracked windshield, battery replaced twice, brakes and pads replaced tires replaced back camera replaced and water pump replaced. Since the cars warning lights have been on the car does not indicate when maintenance is due for the last 2yrs determine on my own or go to auto zone to get a diagnostic reading I'm not sure if this is a lemon or not but trying to get every warning light part replaced has been to n0 avail the cars warning lights a power and feature functions have not worked in 3 yrs.

Srs warning light is on continuously. Independ shop says error code is for driver front seat belt latch sensor. Honda dealers says sensor is not part of lifetime warranty for seat belts, even though sensor is fully integrate with seat belt latch, and part of the vital safety system. Independent shop is reluctant to repair for liability and Honda dealer want huge payment for simple repair. It is unfair and unethical for dealer and manufacturer to not honor there printed warranty.

Airbag warning light comes on randomly, whether car is hot or cold. Reading many other similar complaints, it seems statistically improbable that so many airbag problems would occur without existence of systemic problem similar to my 2005 Accord, which was recalled. Please enforce similar safety concern in these series that use same airbag parts. Until then, Honda will not investigate without costly diagnosis fee and ambiguous expensive repair recommendations. Hope it doesn't randomly punch me in the face while I'm doing 70 on i75!.

My 2004 Honda pilot had a recall for something not working properly in the airbag system. Since receiving the recall notification about the 2004 Honda pilot's airbag, the airbag warning light in my 2004 Honda Accord lit up on August 28, 2019 and has stayed lit since the first time it lit up. My 2004 Honda pilot did not have its airbag warning light come on and it did have a defect. I asked the dealership about an airbag system recall on the 2004 Honda Accords. They said it did not have one and would not check why my 2004 Honda Accord airbag warning light has lit up without me paying a $99 fee. These cars were made during the same time period. These models have both had previous problems with the airbag or part of its system. I do not want to die from a faulty part Honda put into my vehicle because the recall has not been processed for that vehicle yet. I am telling you this in writing so my family has grounds to sue if I am hurt by a part you know is faulty and have not recalled it in a timely manner as you know you need to do. These vehicles were made in the same time frame. You know you use the same basic parts from the same manufactures. Announce the airbag system recall for the 2004 Honda Accords so I can get my vehicle fixed and not worry about driving around a potential time bomb.

I reported this to your office over the phone and received a complaint number, but I lost it. This may be a duplicate report. The dealer fixed the problem; he installed a new driver airbag inflater. But: the red srs warning light still came on. I spoke to them and he said that the warning light served as a warning for several functions. He said that would cost me $ 150. 00 to determine the cause; plus parts; plus installation. I did not think that was right. The red light should not service multiple functions. It should have been included in the recall at no charge. While driving, I still have that red srs red warning light. Your opinion?.
The air bag warning light is coming on and we feel it is defective or related to the recall.

Pohanka Honda (capitol heights, MD) - addressed the passenger air bag recall. However, immediately after being serviced, the warning light(s) regarding the passenger airbag remained on (when it shouldn't), and did not indicate (off) when it should have. I reported back to the dealership and was told - that it is unrelated to the recall they had addressed, and it was a "sensor" issue separate from the recall work. This was not an issue for me prior to having the recall addressed, but now I have this issue and I'd have to pay to have it addressed. How do I know if the passenger air bag recall repair was done correctly, how do I know I am not driving at risk. . . Why am I ordered to pay to resolve some issue that was not apparent before taking my car to this dealership.
Warning light stays on while driving.

Front airbag warning light has come on. Additionally, the seat belt light on the dash no longer illuminates. Forum search says the driver side seat belt sensor is most likely failed.
Air bag warning light is intermittently on. The warning light either remains on the entire time the engine is running, or it lights temporarily at start up and then goes out as normal.
Car was in drive of home, started car and all warning lights stayed on. Would not clear. Drove vehicle to dealership, brakes were barley operable, car was sluggish and power steering almost non-existent. Could have been very dangerous had this happened on the freeway. Dealership first replaced the battery, clearing the codes for a few minutes, the next day they are replacing a bad vsa module that control the abs and other safety functions of the car. The Accord only has 67k miles and these sensors are 1700 plus dollars. Researching, I have found a great deal of these failing -usually when the Honda is in motion. I was fortunate mine was stationary at the time.

Takata recall my passenger airbag console warning light keeps coming on. It stays on sometimes and goes off sometimes. I have taken it back to my dealer several times with no resolution. They tell me the light wasn't on when they checked it out and to bring it back. I told them to check it out at my last oil change, they said to bring it back when they have more time to check it out. I made an appointment to take it back when it came back on, but it went back off again! so basically they can't diagnose the problem when the light isn't on! but when I'm on the way to dealer it is on. This leads me to believe there is a safety problem with the passenger side airbag. This has been goin on for about 2-3 months now. I leased the vehicle March 2017.

The vehicle was taken to the dealer lucas Honda (john keeene, service manager), jacksonville, FL, 904-269-2277, where it was diagnosed that the front passenger's side air bags needed to be replaced. "takata recall". . . . . I purchased this car 2 years ago and the seat belt warning light has always been lit. I just had my oil changed today and the repair shop advised me that there was an error code which means defective air bag. Also the driver seat belt buckle showed defective. Yesterday I received 2 different emails from NHTSA for 2 recalls (#19v499 and #19v501). No letter was received from Honda yet but I hate to wait for a letter to arrive as that could take 60 days, then would have to wait for the dealer to get the parts and then get an appointment. This situation is life-threatening. Is there any way to speed this process up? also the repair shop stated that a lot of the air bags that have been replaced, are now being recalled.
Two recall were done and I still have airbag warning light. I belive something was not done properly. I don't feel safe driving. I receive a latter from takata sefety recall but unintentionaly I didn keep it. I I would like to know who send it to me and can you resend again so I can drive and be safe. Thank you.

I bought the Honda Accord new in 2009 in florida. I gave the car to my daughter in 2016 and she moved to illinois. She had the airbag recall repaired on 6/24/17 but airbag warning light is still on. The dealer states there is a "front weight sensor failure" and needs to be repaired for cost of $882. 32. Honda indicates this part is not part of the recall and will not pay for repairs. I believe the airbags shoud be functional after the recall reair was completed.
