When putting in reverse or drive, engine stutters and electrical system cuts out and entertainment console reboots. Sometimes the car stalls all together. Replaced the battery and alternator, and problem starts again after a few weeks.
I have an intermittent buzzing noise when the car is running. It gets louder and more often when the car warms up. I took it to my local Honda dealership named o'donnell Honda in ellicott city, MD. The supervisor mr. Jerry furr of the service department said he never heard of a diode in the alternator yet I found on google that this video showed that exact problem. I also came in to get my glove box repaired because it is almost impossible. They said it would be extremely expensive because they would have to replace the complete glove box. So, they said just pull on the bottom of the door of the glove box and it may or may not open with trial and error. That glove box was probably defective when it was new. I bought this car from carmax in 2010. This problem with the glovebox should have been fixed in 2007 when the car was new. So, I spent several hours at the dealership and they gave me back my car without doing anything and they charged me $69. What a waste!.

My car will have moments when it will not start. In order to start my vehicle, I have to keep turning the key into it turns on. My battery and alternator have been check but both are functioning properly. It will do this in various scenarios, if the car is off 5 minutes or 5 hours .

Vehicle will not start sometimes when you push the start button. I had the battery, alternator, and started tested and all are in perfect working order. . All the batteries in the keys are fine as well. The process I use to start the car is push the break then press the push start button. When it does not start it makes a clicking noise like the battery is dead but there again when the battery is tested it is fuller charged. This is very frustrating as a new mother. I am scared my son and I will be left somewhere with my car unable to start. I have attached an image of which dashboard alerts appears when this issue occurs.
I started my car up in the morning and warmed it up for about 15 minutes then as I go to put it in reverse the battery light came on I then put my car in park and turned it off then I turned it back on and the battery light was still on I decided to just go because I have to be at work in an hour as I am driving down I five the radio stopped working like the side of the vehicle started flickering and my headlights turned off and I was now driving down I-5 in the dark. Fortunately I made it to my location parked my car and it completely died. I didn't open my hood and started checking my battery and my alternator etc. I confirmed my battery was fine and that my alternator had failed. I then notice fluid was leaking from the power steering pump to the alternator. Now my car is has no power and even if I get it jumpstarted it just dies.

Replaced the factory battery in 8/19 and then again 9/24/19. There was nothing left on in the car that would have caused the battery to die and alternator is charging correctly per technician. Is there a known issued with the electrical system?.
My alternator is covered in alternator fluid including my serpentine belt all the way to my power steering reservoir . Also I've been noticing a loss of power in my vehicle , when I pump gas I try to fill it up and it wont fill up all the way to full it stays 1/4 less of full . Other thing is I had to take off the fuse for the radio due to the radio making loud popping sounds and turning of and on the speakers are fine its all original . This past weekend I noticed also when I was about to hit the road I wanted to set it on cruise control and it didnt work at all only the cruise control light was on and I used it a couple of times this year without problems till now . This week im going to the dealer to have my airbags fixed again due to an airbag recall .

Car won't turn over at random times. Cleaned terminals and tested battery and alternator which are good.
"check charge system" warning alerts turned on and vehicle electrical started shorting soon after while driving on highway. Power steering and brakes started to fail. Managed to drive home when problem first appeared. Problem went away and came back. Towed vehicle to dealer service department. They said I had a bad alternator. Original recall for this vehicle (17v-418) stated "the battery sensor case mounted on top of 12 v battery may have gaps that could allow for moisture to enter the sensor. If moisture containing road salt enters the battery sensor, it could result in an electrical short and subsequently, a fire. The charging system indicator may illuminate in the multi-information display when a problem is detected with the battery sensor prior to the time that a short may occur. " I addressed my concern with service representative that this battery issue may have caused my electrical failure. Dealer said my alternator is bad and needed replacement and didn't agree that the battery issue may have caused this. My total bill was $862. 67 plus towing. As I did some research online I found this to be a common issue with the Honda Accord 2014. Not sure if any recourse is possible but thought I report my issue.
I had to replace the battery within the first year of me owning the vehicle. About 6 months ago I started having the same issue where my battery was dying. In addition to that my. Car started making a funny noise. Turns out I needed my tensioner/alternator pulley replaced and that is when they noticed that the alternator was not charging correctly. It was measuring at 11 volts instead of the normal 14v. I had to have it replaced along with my belt tensioner. I spent 600 and then I learned that there was a recall on Hondas for the same issue but my car was not included in the list. I don't see why not when it was almost the identical issue. This is the first car I have ever bought and I bought a Honda because of its reputation for dependability. The alternator should not have given out within the first three years of owning the vehicle.
I bought a 2015 Honda Accord about 3 months ago with 40,000 miles on it. At 42,000 miles, I was leaving in the morning for work and had to jump my vehicle. It then happened each time that I tried to start my car. The alternator had gone completely out and I had to pay $700 to fix. An alternator should never go out that early in a vehicle at just 42,000 miles.
My alternator reading is at 12. 0, with the car still being this recent, the price of a new alternator is very expensive. I was hoping maybe to see if Honda actually has a recall on this model.
Intermittent starting problems. Car has new battery and alternator is good. Please see same complaints online. One time I drove home from work for about 15 miles, turned off car in the driveway, tried to start the car and wont start.

Towards the end of 2017, I had my Honda Accord service as a result of the battery defect recall. After such repair, my vehicle stalled on a busy highway back in February 2018. I bought the car new and it had approximately 45,000 miles the Honda dealer stated it was the alternator and charged me to repair it . However, on 4/1/18 the car stalled once again and I the engine would not start. I have researched this issue and it appears the too many 2015 Honda Accords are having the same problem following the battery defect recall. This is a safety risk, since the vehicle loses all power leaving one vulnerable to bing hit by other vehicles when the car stalls. My car panel/ system does not give any warning prior to shutting down all power while the car is on motion. Once the car stalls, one can not turn the engine back on. I truly believe that this has to be investigated before some one is killed as a result that f this defect on the Honda Accord.

Since the car was purchased in March 2016 has been having electrical issues, almost everyday no start condition. Needs to be jumped everyday. Had the dash board fuse blown within 2 months of purchase of the car, had battery replaced within 9 months of purchase and had alternator tested. Since the transmission recall rough idle on drive and rpms lower then what normally were. No recall as oer VIN for battery sensor but theres some serious issue car wants to stall while driving sometimes. Someting seriously wrong. Randomly steering light, traction control, brake lighy comes on and goes off.
The contact owns a 2015 Honda Accord. While attempting to start the engine, the vehicle failed to start. On several occasions, while driving, the vehicle suddenly shut off. The vehicle was taken to goady Honda in alhamdia, California where it was diagnosed that the alternator was faulty. The alternator and battery were replaced, but the failure continued. The manufacturer was notified of the failures. The failure mileage was 400.
We had to replace the cars alternator at 37k miles, the battery at 16 months, and have replaced headlights 6 times since owning the car.
I have Honda Accord white ex-l since 11/10/2012 with current mileage of 16,300. 1. Recently, I went to my mechanic to have air pressure checked on my car, since I was going for a long trip. While, air pressure was being checked, I left the car on in accessory mode for about 3 minutes. When I went on to turn the car on, it wouldn't turn on. Dash board lights, flickered at every attempt, when I tried turning on the car. My mechanic checked the battery, he said, battery is dead. I had the battery replaced. Once battery was replaced, mechanic checked alternator. He stated, alternator is not working properly. I told him, I will take the car to Honda dealer. This reminded me, that same thing happened on 7/4/2014, where I had left the hazard lights on and radio on at the same time in power mode for about 5 minutes. I called Honda care, 1st driver, couldn't jump start my car. 2nd driver came, and he was able to jump start my car. He stated battery was fine at that time. However, I just realized, my driver side window was taking lot longer to open and close than it should. With new battery, I will bring car to dealer to have the car checked. Also, since above instances, I turn off my headlights from auto mode, and also interior lights from dimming or turning off automatically to save battery from draining. 2. Since I bought the car in November 2013, I have noticed that, I can hear fuel moving in the fuel tank. In my old 2000 Honda Accord, I never heard such a thing. 3. Since 2012, I have gotten alignment done 3 times, but I still feel the vibration through out my car, and car feels like wobbling in the front. 4. Not happy with mpg. In city, I get 9 to 11 mpg. Highway, it is just about 32 to 35 mpg as advertised and tested. 5. Sometimes, when putting on the driver side seat belt, it gets stuck. I have to retract it and than I am able to secure it in seat belt clip.
The passenger windows (1 front & 2 rear) stopped working. When they stopped working, the windows were partially down. I could not raise the windows by any usual means. All I would get is a clicking sound at the master window control and the individual respective windows controls when I tried to raise them. The only window that would operate in a normal manner was the driver's window. The driver's window would go up or down as needed without any problem. This appears to be an electrical issue that has affected many Honda models of various years, including models newer & older that my 2007 Honda Accord se. The issue does not involve a window regulator, nor window motor. It appears to involve the master window control and/or the vehicle's ecu (electronic control unit) that is responsible for the operation of the vehicle's windows. This problem should be addressed by Honda at no charge to owners of Honda vehicles.
