When I'm driving the car I notice that my air bag light says that my air bag is off. This will be the 11th recall and it hasn't got fixed yet.

Honda dealer and Honda USA tell me that my wife (95lbs) is not heavy enough to activate the passenger air bag and make the dash indicator go out. The owners manual says (pg47) that the weight to activate the air bag is 65lbs. Is this a Honda problem ?.

Our passenger seat airbag does not work when I sit in the seat. Our Honda dealer has said there computer does not see a problem we determined that I may not meet the weight allowance as I weigh about 88-90 lbs. We have complained to the american Honda motor company and were told they would get back to us but that was nearly a month ago. . All other people who have sat in the passenger seat did not experience this problem and we have not received clear information as to what the weight allowance is for this car. When I sit in the seat, the airbag light stays on. I am extremely concerned about Honda's apparent indifference as well as the lack of safety I feel when sitting in that seat. Please let me kn ow if you can follow up on this concern for me. Thank you.

I was driving on the freeway going 70 miles an hour and my car cut off and the airbag light came on , I called and scheduled and appointment and towed my car to the Honda dealership . Maura Honda citrus heights , they fixed the passenger air bag , and now my car has all kind of electrical problems .

The vsa stay on and my power steer turn on and off sometimes it's hard to turn I hard to pull over the freeway to shut the car off and then on in order to retain my power steering, my traction control doesn't work wich am guessing it's related with the vsa and my airbag light turns on my dash then turns off am a little terrified I might loose complete control off my car and my airbag will go off or not even pop off incase of an accident or I might cause an accident if I keep loosening my power steering (electronical power steering).

Once a month roughly while I'm driving my airbag light comes on the dash and reads "check airbag" I know this is wrong because nothing is wrong. If I pull over and shut my car off wait 30 secs then turn it back on the error message will turn off.

As I was driving and reached 40mph, a notification appeared on my screen that I needed to check my airbag. Now my airbag light will not turn off.

Srs airbag light comes on stayed on in winter (2019) but the sensor light display disappeared in summer (2020). Now the air srs airbag light comes on and stayed on as of October 2, 2020.

Driver airbag alert light on all the time the passenger air bag light goes off and on all the time.

My airbag lights literally go on and off multiple times while I'm driving. I am not sure what brand air bags are in my car, they could be the takata recalled part, but not sure. Whenever I have something in the front seat, or a person is sitting in the front seat the airbag lights on the dash come on. They will come on and go off while I am driving. This happens on the street, highway, anytime.

Check air bag light comes on randomly. Sometimes when go over speed bump, sometimes just driving on smooth road, or making a turn. No real pattern discovered yet. Started sometime ago but came on maybe once every 3-4 months. Now however it is occurring much more frequently almost daily. It has been rather hot and humid since occurrences started being more frequent not sure if that is coincidence or part of reason for the increase. Once car is turned off the light is gone till the next random occurrence. It has not turned on without the vehicle moving at this point.

After the recall，my side air bag has problem and need to be replaced due to the airbag light on and dealer checking. I wonder if this is due to the air bag quality issues.

2009 Honda Civic never in an accident. In Feb 2019 he airbag light came on. Front airbags were previously replaced under takita recall. I was told the passenger seat side airbag had to be replaced for "a part that just fails over time" and was not part of the recall. I paid $1100 to have it replaced. Two months later and the airbag light is on again and I fear it is now the driver side curtain airbag that has failed and I will have to put another $1100 into a car for failure of a safety part. The car has 112,000 miles and I just paid an additional $1400 for rear breaks, shocks, etc. , which I consider routine maintenance. I could have put $3600 down on a new car. Now I am already into this car for $2500 and fixing the airbag is non-negotiable. It needs to be done. I would be curious to know how many other people are having side airbag issues with Honda vehicles. Also, the paint is peeling off the vehicle! started peeling 6 months after the warranty was up so Honda not responsible.

The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 86,000. Jw.

Airbag light intermitantly comes on for past two years. Issue started at 50,000 miles. Dealer said it is a clock spring or airbag issue with a $1400 repair cost.

The contact took the vehicle to Honda auto center of bellevue (13291 se 36th st, bellevue, wa 98006, (425) 641-3055). The dealer stated that there were no recalls on the vehicle; therefore, there would be a charge for the repairs. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 135,000.

Also wasn't able to select the steering, the speed control brakes and the wheels/tires. The car has completely shut off while driving going 60 on the highway. Since I've got this car it's been a huge pain and has been in the shop nearly the entire time I've had it. I'm currently making monthly payments on it and have had the car since 2017 and have put over $9,000 worth of work into it. . It finally has stopped working again I've been without a car for over a year because I can't continue to dump money into it. The abs light and check engine have been on since I've got it and the tire pressure light has always been on since I've got it the airbag light blinks while driving randomly and the electrical has went out while driving as well all the lights and radio would completely go out while driving during the day this happened thank god because had it happened at night I wouldn't of been able to see the road. The car has had the battery replaced many times and the tires constantly loose threading and feels like the car steering is shaking while driving. The child safety restraint lights blink as well randomly as well with the airbag lights. My sterling wheel has completely locked up while driving unable to move it at all. This car has cost me loads of money and put me in such a bad place financially I wish I never got it.

Took the car for recall airbag . 1 month pass and the passengers airbag light came on.

I went in to have the recall repaired done for airbags. Days later my airbag light came on I notified Honda and was told I had to pay for an inspection. The light comes and goes. I have never had an issue prior to them supposedly fixing a recall now my airbag will not stay off. They claim it has nothing to do with the recall repair but I find that hard to believe. This was never an issue before they fooled with my car. This is a major safety concern I have two small children and I can't allow something to happen to them driving in an unsafe vehicle.

The airbag system is defective. I have always been getting the sign indicator check your air bag system. This has been happening for the last one year.

My airbag light comes on and stays on for awhile but the airbag on the dashboard light always says its off if my car is not affected in the recall then why is my lights for the airbags coming on.
