Abs brake system failure and unable to steer vehichle causing accident. Front passenger side airbag did not deploy for front passenger. If the passenger did not move his head when he did and driver they both likely would have been killed in the accident. When this vehichle was purchased at the carmax dealership less than 60 days ago, it was assured of no issues, however it did have low tire pressure warnings and they put air in tires at the time of test drive, I have read some people have had low tire warning / abs issues prior to abs failures and wish this to be investigated. This is suspicious.

While the vehicle is in motion and making left or right hand turns (90 degree turns) with the vehicle going ~10 mph the airbag warning lightturns and stays on for some time before it disappears. However, the frequency of the airbag warning lights have increased. I took the vehicle to the dealership for further investigation and was told the issue is coming from a cable reel and the driver inflation may need to be replaced too. According to the Honda technician- if the issue/parts remain unfixed, the airbag will fail to deploy in a forward movement crash.

Was recently tboned at a red light, driver door, passenger door and frame dented in. I was spun around three times before coming to a stop. Front driver airbag and passenger airbag failed to deploy. Window won't roll fully down, driver and passenger stick and hard to open, lock makes a buzzing sound, seatbelt now stuck and seatbelt indicator dings even when fastened.
My 2013 Honda Civic consistently has the "check air bag system" indicator comes on 75% to 80% of the time when I begin to drive it. It's unknown why this occurs? it occurs while driving in the city or on the highways. Makes no difference. I've read many complaints about this on the internet from fellow Civic owners. This occurs only on the model year 2013. My concern is if I would be in an accident, I've been told if the warning light is on, the air bag system will not deploy and possibly could cause serious bodily injuries. This is not acceptable to have such a quality automobile company like Honda not to investigate and have this fixed. My car looks and drives like brand new with only 30k miles on it. I've check my VIN number for recalls but there are none. I went to a dealership and they said they could run a diagnostic check for $139. 00 but said that wouldn't guarantee a fix solution. And internet owners have paid for this to no avail for a fix solution. Then more diagnostic checks would be required and who knows at what expense? I'm asking to please look in to this situation for myself and my families well being and safety. Thank you for your time.

While the vehicle was in motion on a highway in a rural area, the vehicle was involved in a collision sustaining front impact causing substantial damage resulting in a total loss of the vehicle. However, with such impact to the front end, the air bags failed to deploy as they should have or are intended to.
Passenger airbag never detects when my son or another preteen close to his age is sitting in the seat. It always turns off/ deactivates. If there was an accident the airbag would not deploy and provide safety for my child or his cousins when inside my vehicle.
My airbags did not deploy when I was rear ended with my seatbelt on when I was stopped at a stoplight on a busy suburban street. My airbag light goes off and on at times. I was told fixing the airbag problem was not covered. Why is that when takata b bags were reportedly recalled for the 2015 Honda Civic.

"takata recall" my "check air bag light" is on constantly since December 2018. I took it to the Honda dealership, and they told me it is my driver side air bag that is affected. They told me I would have to pay out of pocket to fix my air bag, because it is not under recall. I have never, ever, ever heard of a car that is 3 1/2 years old with 43,000 miles that needs a new air bag? this car has never, ever, ever been in a car accident. This is not normal! how does an air bag go bad that has never deployed??? I do not have the money to buy a new driver side air bag. If I did have the money, I don't think I should have to pay for a brand new air bag on a new car. The car has only been in use for 3 1/2 years. I have to drive my niece who is a senior to visit colleges in florida for spring break all the way from connecticut. I have to drive for 4 full days and drive around florida and back risking my life, her life and her best friend's life. That is not fair. If I die, or the kids die, because their air bags do not work, that is not fair and cruel. I paid for a brand new car that advertised working air bags, not a "lemon". The car manufacturer and takata, is being shielded from having to pay to fix all of these defective air bags, while human beings will die to save them money. I am afraid for my life! I do not want to die, or kill my passengers by knowingly let them ride in my vehicle that has defective, non-functioning, deadly air bags. My car supposedly is fine. How could that be? my air bags do not work! are you telling me that this is all just a big coincidence? how could a new car have broken takata air bags? that does not seem unusual to you? this is cold-blooded to know that because of money my life is expendable. Why isn't my VIN number included in the recall? I do not have money to buy a new air bag(s) and pay for many hours of labor at Honda. Please help me!!.
Tl- the contact owns a 2005 Honda Civic. The contact stated that while driving at 20 mph, the vehicle in front of him spun out of control. While trying to avoid the spun out vehicle, the contact struck another vehicle. The air bags failed to deploy upon impact. The contact sustained a concussion and neck injuries, the contact was treated on the scene by ems and was transferred to the hospital(froedtert hospital 9200 w wisconsin Ave, milwaukee, WI 53226 414-805-3666); where he was treated for his injuries and released. The other driver involved in the collision did not sustain injuries. There were no other passengers in either vehicle. A police was filed at the scene. The vehicle was severely damaged and towed to a tow yard, the vehicle was then towed to an auto body shop where the vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The contact received a recall notice NHTSA campaign number: 19v501(air bags) and the VIN tool confirmed that the vehicle was included in the recall. The failure mileage was 150,000. Jo.
I was hit by a car turning left and my airbags did not deploy. The cars screen had an alert on it with the words "airbag failed". My VIN is not in the recall however I am concerned. The aribags failed and I'm lucky that I was ok. The car is deemed a total loss due to the airbags failing.
I was involved in a single car, weather related accident. I was traveling approximately 35-40 miles per hour in heavy snow. I was wearing my seatbelt which came unlatched upon initial impact with a guard rail on the rear passenger side. My car then crossed the road and went into a ditch, striking some large boulders. That impact was on the front, driver side of the vehicle. The airbag did not deploy and the car was significantly damaged and declared a total loss. I was injured with a broken right arm, broken right leg, nine broken ribs and significant lacerations to my head and right ear from impacting the rear view mirror and front windshield. I spent 12 days in a critical care unit and 18 days in a rehabilitation center for physical therapy. I had to have plates and screws installed in my leg and arm to repair the broken bones. My husband inspected and tested the driver seatbelt and while it did appear to hold on some solid latches of the belt, was able to observe it fail and come unlatched after hearing a solid click/latch sound and then pulling with hand strength on the belt having it come unlatched.
I have started to get a "check air bag system" warning light on my dashboard. It doesn't happen when I start the car, but occurs at some point while driving. The diagnosis is a bad steering wheel position sensor. The car has never been in an accident; there's no problem with the rack and pinion; and the air bag has never deployed.
Tl- the contact owns a 2009 Honda Civic. The contact stated that while the driver was driving about 50 mph, the vehicle rear-ended another vehicle. The air bags did not deploy. There was no warning. There was no police report. The driver and two passengers sustained injuries that required medical attention. The vehicle was totaled and was towed to an auto body shop where it was diagnosed that the air bag sensor was damaged and sensed that the air bag deployed. The technician also noticed that the air bag and the seat belt lights were on. The seat belt was replaced. The technician stated that the air bag sensor also needed to be repaired. The vehicle was taken to another independent mechanic for the air bag sensor repair. The contact stated that even though the vehicle was totaled the owner retained ownership of the vehicle and was able to do the repairs with the settlement amount from the insurance company. The dealer was not called. The contact called the manufacturer and left messages. Thecontact was not called back. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 45,000. Fe.

Airbag did not deploy.
Takata recall: 1/26/19 had a mva where Ford fusion pulled out in front of me. I tboned him around 20-30mph, my air bags did not deploy and seat belts locked all the way out. I hit steering wheel and wound up with sternal fracture which is now a nonunion fracture. I had taken car into Honda dealer to have recall fixed which they said they did ( I have receipts) but they obviously didn't. Honda recall 16-048.
