Initially noticed starting problem where car wont start. Then got a p060a code and vsa light noticed low battery and hooked up a battery charger. I noticed a clicking sound like the starter was engaging several times and all the cabin lights were on, all on its own. I have noticed the cabin light was on before when I first came to the car and I simply thought that kids opened the door before me. Now I am suspicious that the car is running the starter and turning on the cabin light is draining the battery. This issue might occurred earlier as I had to change the battery after about 2 yrs. After the car was bought new. This car is equipped with push button start.

Van will start periodically. But the next day the battery will be dead & has been jumped off with jump box & other vehicles assist. But battery is new, terminals cleaned. Van will not even make a clicking sound. I feel that there is evidence of faulty ignition switch, starter relay or parked/neutral safety switch & maybe more depending on chassis electrical. The vehicle is also stationary until the next morning. This happens to be my wife's vehicle. . . Need this fixed ASAP. .

After reversing out of the driveway (slowly) and putting the car in drive I noticed a hard clunking sound. I thought it was just a rough shift. When I continued to drive down my block 5-15 mph to the stop sign it continued. It feels like another vehicle is crashing into you and slamming on the breaks. You lose 'control' of the gas pedal (your foot is on the gas, you hear a large clunk and the gas pedal doesn't make you go forward anymore, for a couple seconds) it is a nerve-racking feeling and isn't correct. My vehicle was purchased in 2014 (2015 model) it only has 32k miles on it. Regular routine maintenance has been performed. It has happened a handful of times in the past 3-4 months and seems to temporarily correct itself once the car is put in park, turned off and turned back on. . . I have not been able to recreate it for anyone while they are in the vehicle, except my children who are scared when it happens. When the car is in park and goes to drive there is also a harsh transition; a clunk happens when shifting. It is an automatic transmission. Yesterday 10/2/18; I drove roughly a mile with no issues until I came to a stop sign, where I didn't make a complete stop and it started happening again. I waited to post, it happened again this morning 10/4/2018; the van was cold (parked all night) backed up, came to a complete stop, put it in drive, clunked like it missed firts gear, then continued to clunk as I drove between 40 and 60 feet. Stopped, put it in park, turned it back on and drove away with no issue. Shall see what happens after work today.

2 wks ago 1/7/18 we noticed a ticking noise that my husband said sounded like it was coming from the engine sitting at idle or moving. . He checked the oil and there was none there. . It was not time for a routine oil change and we get them done reg. At a nissian dealership. . He put 2 qts of oil and lucas additive to see if the noise would quite down. . However it did not and has started to get louder. . He then went to a mechanic friend who used a stethoscope and said that it was coming from the engine for sure. . We called the dealership who we got the van from and they said to bring it in because they didn't understand why there wasn't any oil in it. . They said that they did some research and show that Honda settled a lawsuit about fast oil comsuption and engine failure. . My local Honda dealership said that there is nothing they can do because the extended warranty went out 9/17 and it would need to have a cel. . I asked them if they would be able to start a complaint with american Honda but they said that since I'm not a customer of their dealership that it would be out of their control. . It sounds terrible at idle and when you are going through 1st and 2nd gear. . I'm afraid that it's not safe to drive with my kids in the car and will stall out anywhere. . I don't know what to do because a new engine will cost thousands of dollars and I'm afraid that the van is only worth like $6-7000 but we owe like $12900 still.
While accelerating after being stopped at a stop sign, the car made a clunking noise and the car jerked severely as we accelerated into gear. It happened at least 2 more times after being stopped at a couple of stop signs. It was very frightening when it happened and is a safety issue as the driver's attention is taken away when it happens. The scariest part is not knowing when it's going to happen. When there is a need to accelerate quickly across traffic, we are worried the same thing will happen again or that the car won't make it through the intersection. I don't feel safe driving this vehicle while the issue is outstanding. This is an unacceptable issue that having read other forums is happening to others with 2014 and 2015 Odyssey's and the dealerships are bot understanding the cause or fix for the issue due to it happening sporadically. This calls for action before it leads to someone being harmed. It's a major issue and pressure needs put on Honda to fix the issue!.
I was driving my 2 year old Honda Odyssey w/15,000 miles on a 35 mph state road in the evening. All of a sudden the van lost complete power, everything inside went black, brakes went, no lights in or outside working, and the steering got very stiff, making it difficult to steer the van off the road. My 5 young children were in the vehicle as well. (ages 14, 6, 4, 2, & 5 months). Thankfully no vehicles were on the road in front of me or stopped bc I would have hurt them badly. I just missed getting rear ended by 3 other vehicles as well. Thankfully we weren't traveling the busy interstate that evening, or this could have easily been fatal for my whole family and possibly others as well. Previous to this (approx. 3 months or so) I had made complaints to the dealership about a popping noise in the steering column, when a sharp turn was made and was told that it was "normal". I also have a constant vibration in the steering wheel, brake and gas pedal, which Honda balanced the tires and re surfaced the roaders. For a vehicle which almost cost me $36,000 & 2 years old with low miles, shouldn't be having these issues. The issue with the complete loss of power needs to be diagnosed and correctly fixed, or taken off the road before it causes someone to be severely injured or killed!!!! fix it correctly or I want the vehicle replaced or my money back to buy a safer vehicle. . . . Not we're unsure of what the issue is or think we fixed it. I don't need my family or any others killed.

Loud clunking sound coming from under the drivers engine side - had car checked and mechanic replaced motor mounts, but still making same noise - almost sounds like engine will drop out at any moment. Also when traveling on highway at speeds of 55 or higher, van will shake uncontrollably and also randomly at low speeds when just starting from a complete stop. I do not feel safe with my children in the van under these conditions, from reading complaints, it definitely sounds like Honda should be responsible for this malfunction.

It started with a loud clunk noise coming from the engine area anytime I turned a corner or drove over a bump in the road. It started happening all the time. Took it in and was notified that the engine mounts were going out. I was quoted $1900. 00 to replace all 5!! now my car shakes violently on the freeway going 60 mph. This is indicative of the engine mounts breaking. This is a major defect!! this needs to be a safety recall. I have read many complaints about this. Honda needs to be responsible for the repairs!.
Air bag -- control module failure at 67000 miles. Srs light on panel indicated problem. Diagnostics showed code 6-2. Car needs control unit #06772-sx0-a70. Cost $654. 00 + tax. If owner cannot afford repair, car will be driven without benefit of air bags. Power window -- driver's side front, click sound when rolling up window at 42,000 miles. Window stopped working entirely at dealer's repair facility. Regulator and motor were replaced. Power door locks -- locks would recycle when owner attempted to lock the car. Left front power door latch and actuator replaced at 42,000 miles. Engine -- owner drove the car 9 miles to work before oil indicator lamp finally came on when parking. Something in the engine failed when car started, evidence of sudden oil leak in home driveway, and oil spilled out of engine all the way to work. Engine oil completely gone.
