1 Engine Funny Noise problem

Failure Date: 08/14/2020

My check engine light has came on while I was driving it's just cut off on the highway 3 times . . I took it to the shop and he put it on the machine and the gas lid was to tight so he took it off and it started running as normal but the check engine light would not go off it kept saying the sensor code the next day I was driving and it started making funny noise then it cut off while making a loud knocking noise had to get the car towed kept cutting off and the noise gotten louder it will start but when u drive it cuts off it was a rod knock as the shop told the motor is no more good and my car was running perfectly fine and the sensors are really terrible in my car and had to get towed again off the highway.

2 Engine Funny Noise problem

Failure Date: 10/10/2019

Was driving down the road at regular speed 55mph when the car quit with out any lights coming on or any weird noise after we got off the road we tried starting it again but nothing happened so we had it towed to the nearest garage where we was told the motor was locked up. It has around 124,000. Seems to me that this is a occurring problem with this motor and do not understand how they pick and choose which ones are recalled. So what's a person supposed to do when it's your only transportation and your on a fixed income.

3 Engine Funny Noise problem

Failure Date: 03/10/2019

I was driving down the road my car stalled and I pulled off to the side of the freeway. I pushed my push to start button and nothing happened. I pushed it again and the car started right up with no weird sounds. Then I pulled back into the freeway and got off at the next exit to check the oil. I wasn't due for an oil change for another 500 miles, the oil was low so I added a quart that I bought from the chevron I pulled into. I then got back on the freeway but my car would not shift, so I changed it to manual mode and started shifting myself and it got up to like 60 mph but then wouldn't accelerate any more even with my foot all the way down. I continued for a short period of time until the car started to sound like it was going over those bumps in the road that are meant to keep you awake. Once I pulled off the freeway the car began to make an extremely loud knocking sound. I parked it off to the side and called a mechanic out to look at it. He found metal shavings in the oil (as seen in the photos attached) and told me I needed a new engine.

4 Engine Funny Noise problem

Failure Date: 06/06/2017

I'm not happy with my Hyundai Sonata 2013, my first recall was my seatbealts and my current second recall is about a malfunction in the engine. I drive everyday with 2 little kids in the car I do not feel safe anymore. I do hear a weird sound when I press on the brakes. . I would like to see what are my options are if I can get a replacement car because I find this so unfair, unsafe and time consuming for the second time.
