First incident took place yesterday when slowing down to stop. The car died and I lost power steering and everything went blank. I sat for 10 minutes due to not starting up. It sounded like a grinding noise when I went to turn it over. After starting it back I took it to the dealership. They stated it was a recall and it was fixed. Well this morning I went to slow down at a stop sign when I went to accelerate the car died, I was stuck in 4 lanes of traffic. I finally got the car restarted and took it back to the dealership. They stated that they changed my oil and could tell that in looking into the issue that's what it is. They are going to keep the car over the weekend and let me know. However my friend has the same 2019 and her car has done the same thing after an oil change. Something has to be done before someone gets killed.
The contact owns a 2015 Jeep Cherokee. The contact stated that the vehicle jerked while driving. The contact mentioned that the failure occurred mostly while driving at low speeds or when coming to a stop. No warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to russell westbrook Chrysler Dodge Jeep ram (6110 van nuys blvd, van nuys, CA 91401) where a computer software upgrade was completed however, the upgrade failed to solve the failure. The contact mentioned that the engine was replaced several months ago. The vehicle was still experiencing the failure. The contact also mentioned that after the engine was replaced a grinding noise occurred while making a left turn. The contact mentioned that the technician replaced the transmission valve plug before the engine was replaced. The vehicle was later taken to rydell Chrysler Dodge Jeep ram (700 san fernando rd, san fernando, CA 91340) and was diagnosed that the motor mount and transmission mount needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact to take the vehicle back to rydell Chrysler Dodge Jeep ram for assistance. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer and was diagnosed that the suspension and transmission fluid needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 62,000.

When starting from a stop car hesitates or jerks, sometimes clunks or grinds. Does the same thing when trying to pass a vehicle, pulling out at a stop light does the same thing. I believe it could be the transmission as the car seems not to want to shift correctly and makes rough, jumpy grinding noises does this most of time time you drive it and has for along time.
While going in reverse noticed rubbing grinding noise. Dealer replaced engine and transmission but noise continued.
