Fuel Hoses Lines/piping And Fittings Problems of Jeep Cherokee

The consumer receive a recall for the floor shifter Jan 2002. The mechanic went into her fuel line causing the vehicle to start prematurely. Please furnish additional information dealer is aware of the problem.

Gas tank leaking gas. Dealer checked vehicle out & they found that hose going into the spout came apart on the top of the gas tank. Dealer said it could be a defect, but manufacturer was not standing behind the product.

The main fuel line was too long and chaffed and melted, unnotices, on top of the rear end gear box. The large amounts of fuel was leaking over the hot gear rear gear box and splashing onto the hot meffler.
