The contact owns a 2000 Jeep Cherokee. The contact stated that the vehicle had been repaired according to recall 02v104000 (fuel system, gasoline: fuel injection system: injectors). The contact stated that after the repair, the vehicle began making a squealing noise when she lifted her foot off the accelerator pedal. The contact stated that the failure occurred when the vehicle began to become warm. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer who stated that they could hear the noise but could not determine from where it was coming. Prior to recall notice (02v104000) consumers vehicle experienced an under hood fire in which a mouse nest had ignited, consumer is requesting reimbursement for the rapirs and a fifty dollar deductible that was paid to the insurance company.
