Vehicle would not start. Vehicle was towed to dealership and fuel pump relay was identified as the cause of the problem, recall exists and the fuel pump relay was replaced. However, fuel pump relay caused the battery to drain also necessitating replacement. Fca/mopar only authorized reimbursement of the fuel pump relay and not for the battery even though it was directly related and the dealership technician stated the same. Spoke with multiple reps from fca who could not provide any assistance. An oil change and systems diagnostic test was performed on the vehicle just before the fuel pump failure and no issues with the battery were identified. I was told the battery could not be replaced because I tried to start the vehicle. . . Which seems incredulous to me as that is what most people do when they leave for work. How was I supposed to know the fuel pump relay needed to be replaced unless I tried to start the vehicle and it wouldn't turn over?.

Began having issue with vehicle not starting on first push of "start" button, and vehicle starting then stalling. Received recall notice 19v-813 which describes this same issue. Called local dealer (royal Chrysler motors, owego, NY 13827) and asked if there was an interim solution because the recall notice says the remedy is not yet available. The dealer said they were aware of the recall, but no interim solution is available. Asked what would happen if my car would not start or quit and would not restart. The dealer did not have any suggestions. The recall notice says I could be reimbursed if I paid to have this specific issue repaired. It is a contradiction to say no remedy is available, but if I have applied a remedy it would be reimbursed. I am afraid of having the vehicle stall while driving and causing a crash. Please help get this resolved.

Fuel pump relay failed after being replaced by recall. Occasionally the car would not start. Most recently the car stalled on me while in traffic. The first time I was able to coast to the shoulder and restart the car. The second, and last time it stalled, I was turning off a residential side street onto a major 4 lane road during rush hour. It stalled in the intersection. I could not restart it. I was told by my auto shop that the part has not been improved, only replaced. That is not a fix!.

While driving on a rainy day, my car shut of-at the time I was doing approx 50 mph. I had to pull over to the side and restart the car. When I took my car, I was informed there is a tipm issue and my computer needed to be replaced, costing me over $1500. Since my warranty expired, I have to pay out of pocket. My hands are tied on this one, as it potentially can cause a serious safety issue for my future. Also a problem with the tipm, my car has failed to start on approx 10 occasions. It takes me about 20 minutes to get it to start.
Car would not start on first attempt. This occurred everyday for 3 days at which point I brought it to the dealership for service. The problem was an issue with the fuel pump related to a faulty tipm. The part was replaced by the dealership at no charge.

Dealer determined vehicle had a bad battery. Per the invoice received from the dealer "body ground at battery was not secure" and after installing new battery mechanic noticed "sparking at lower negative cable on body" and that he "found nut for stud laying in the bottom of the battery tray".
